It's come to this: Moronic Leftist MK thinks Jews first came to Israel from Egypt

Someone must have tipped Stav Shaffir off as to how boorish this tweet was, because it's no longer in her Twitter feed. Fortunately, Channel 10's Akiva Novick (who knows his bible) caught it and posted it to Facebook for posterity with a plea for more bible education in Israeli schools. For the Hebrew-impaired, the Labor party MK's tweet says the following:
"Our history began from Jerusalem" said [Education Minister Naftali] Bennett this morning. Forgive the pettiness, but the Education Minister should know that according to the Torah, we came here from Egypt.

I guess Shaffir's 'education' excluded the book of Genesis....

'If you want to keep your enriched uranium, you can keep your enriched uranium'

Desperate for a deal, US President Hussein Obama sent out moron Marie Harf to lay the groundwork for making yet another concession to Iran in the P 5+1 talks: No, they're not going to send their enriched uranium stocks out of the country.

Iran would not necessarily have to ship its stockpile of highly enriched uranium abroad under a nuclear pact with major powers, U.S. State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said on Monday.
"You don't have to ship it out of the country to get to a year breakout time," she said in a conference call, referring to the goal of stretching the amount of time it would take Iran to acquire enough fissile material to make one atomic bomb.
"You can have some other dispositions for it that get us where we need to be in terms of our bottom line," Harf said.
What could go wrong?

There he goes again

It's long past time to put Jimmy Carter out to pasture.

In a Tuesday interview with HuffPost Live, Carter said that Jews are safer in France than in Israel.

Let's go to the videotape.

Adam Kredo adds:
Jews have fled Paris en massage due to growing anti-Semitism and the recent the massacre of Jews in a kosher food store by Islamic extremists. The editor of Britain’s Jewish Chronicle said that the problem is so bad that “every single French Jew I know has either left or is actively working out how to leave.”
...
Carter also said that the recent attacks in Paris should provide an opportunity for the West to discover what makes Islam “great.”
“I think this is going to give a lot of people incentive to look into Islamicism, what is it about this religion that makes it great, that makes it appeal to really billions of people and to understand that Islamic leaders condemn this kind of terrorism just like the rest of the world,” he said.
 Moron.

Jimmy Carter: Paris attacks Israel's fault

It's not just French Muslims who say that last week's terror attacks were the Jews' fault. So does Jimmy Carter. That's what he told the Daily Show's Jon Stewart. Watch this one starting from 2:15.

Watch it here.

Holder: US 'still doesn't know' which group behind Paris attack

Eric Holder, the moron President Hussein Obama sent to Paris as the US representative in Sunday's mass march, told CNN on Sunday that the United States 'still doesn't know' what group is behind the Paris attack.
Attorney General Eric Holder said Sunday that "we don't have any credible information" yet on whether a terrorism organization sponsored the attack in Paris -- and if so, which one.
Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, which Holder said "remains the most dangerous of the al Qaeda cells," has claimed responsibility for the attack on the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo.
...
"We don't have any credible information, at least of yet, to indicate who was responsible -- who sponsored this act. That is clearly one of the things that we have to make a determination of," he said.
Because Muslims never commit terror attacks? What could go wrong?

State Department: Throwing Molotov cocktails at passing cars doesn't make you a terrorist

Another gem from State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki's Monday press briefing.
QUESTION: In the case of the Palestinian American teenager who was killed on Friday, are you – do you know the circumstances under which he was shot?
MS. PSAKI: I don’t have any more details.
QUESTION: There are – okay. The reason I ask is because there are reports out there that he was throwing Molotov cocktails at cars on a highway. And I’m wondering, if that is the case, would you have still been so speedy in putting out a statement and offering your condolences to the family? The argument that is being made by some in Israel is that this kid was essentially a terrorist. And you don’t agree with that, I assume, but I don’t know, so that’s why I’m asking.
MS. PSAKI: Correct, we don’t. I don’t have any more details on the circumstances now.
QUESTION: So you – does that – that would apply even if he was throwing Molotov cocktails?
MS. PSAKI: I’m not going to speculate. I don’t have details to share.
QUESTION: All right. The other thing --
QUESTION: Back to the baby – back to the --
QUESTION: Well, I’ve got – I’ve got to get one more on this and then I’m done. There is a photograph of this teenager’s – this teenager being buried today, and he’s wearing a Hamas headband. It was put on him, obviously. Is that of concern at all to you guys?
MS. PSAKI: I just don’t have any more on this particular case.
So according to Psaki, standing at the exit from the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel and throwing Molotov cocktails at passing cars is AOK and does not warrant police using deadly force to put a stop to it? Just askin'... Wait, there's more:
QUESTION: To go back to Matt’s question about – were you aware when you put out the statement on Friday night that there were allegations that the Palestinian American teenager had been throwing – our story said a Molotov cocktail and it was – it had run before your statement came out. So didn’t you – did you know at the time when you put out the statement that there were allegations that he was engaged in violence?
MS. PSAKI: Well, there were media reports, Arshad.
QUESTION: Yes.
MS. PSAKI: Beyond that, I don’t have anything to read out for you.
QUESTION: Right, no. But I just wanted to get on the record that you knew about those reports when you put out the call for the speedy investigation.
QUESTION: Matt – I mean Arshad, I’m happy to talk to our team and see if there’s more --
QUESTION: But just to clarify what Matt was saying, and you said – you kind of said something but it was just very short --
MS. PSAKI: Okay.
QUESTION: -- you do not believe that this teenager was throwing Molotov cocktails. Is that right?
MS. PSAKI: That’s – I don’t have any more to outline or confirm for you in terms of the circumstances.
QUESTION: No, he said that you don’t believe that to be the case.
MS. PSAKI: That’s not what I said.
QUESTION: Do you? And you said no, you – no.
MS. PSAKI: He asked me if we thought he was a terrorist, and I said no.
QUESTION: Oh, okay.
QUESTION: Is that no longer the case? Do you think you were too precipitous, perhaps, in issuing that statement condemning --
MS. PSAKI: I think we’re going to have to move on now.
Well, that's pretty clear, isn't it?

Moonbat AG: ISIS, Hamas and Hezbullah flags out, but PLO flag in

In a letter to the prosecutors' offices, our moronic attorney general says that if you display an ISIS, Hamas or Hezbullah flag, you will be arrested and prosecuted (unless you're a 'Palestinian' or other non-Israeli citizen, in which case even those flags are okay), but if an Israeli citizen displays a PLO flag, that's cool with Yehuda Weinstein.
The letter says that, according to Weinstein's opinion, the state is on clear legal grounds to persecute such actions. “The Palestine Liberation Organization was declared a terror organization many years ago, and that designation has never been changed. Technically, flying the PLO flag is a crime, as that was legislated when the PLO was declared a terror group.
“Given the new relationship between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, which represents the PLO, the Attorney General has for many years overlooked the criminal aspects of flying the PLO flag, and no one is persecuted [sic - CiJ] for this anymore,” the letter said. “With that, there is no overall protection for flying the flag of terror groups, which is still a crime.” That law, the letter said, needed to be enforced against groups that practice terrorism, including ISIS, Hezbollah, and Hamas.
“When such flags and symbols are displayed police must judge if there is a possibility of public disorder or disturbance, or of danger to the public. If there is, police should take steps to remove the flags. In appropriate cases, charges may be made against perpetrators,” the letter added.
While the PLO flag could fly, the letter said, action should be taken as quickly and forcefully as possible against the flags of other terror groups, the letter said. “We have recently distributed these instructions to police and security officials and expect them to act according to these principles,” it added.
'Israeli Arabs' are now officially allowed to fly the 'Palestinian flag' in Israel. What could go wrong?

This may be the worst interview ever by a UN official

William Schabas, who has been appointed as the Richard Goldstone of Operation Protective Edge, was interviewed by Israel's Channel 2 television on Tuesday night. He could not have turned in a worse performance.

Asked why he called Netanyahu his "favorite" to indict at the International Criminal Court, instead of Syria's Assad or Hamas' Mashal, Schabas said he merely echoed the Goldstone Report. Except Netanyahu wasn't PM then—and isn't mentioned anywhere in the report!

Let's go to the videotape (English with Hebrew subtitles).

It's a pity that the interviewer didn't know enough facts to ask better follow-up questions. More 'highlights' of the interview here.

Lunatic Navi Pillay condemns Israel and US for not sharing Iron Dome with Hamas

Navi Pillay, the chairwoman of the United Nations 'human rights council,' President Hussein Obama's favorite international body, has condemned has condemned the United States and Israel for not sharing Iron Dome with Hamas!
Among the UN’s long bill of particulars against the beleaguered Jewish state comes the almost unbelievable accusation that Israel’s refusal to share its Iron Dome ballistic missile defense shield with the "governing authority" of Gaza – i.e. Hamas, the terror group created to pursue the extermination of the Jewish state and now waging a terrorist war against it – constitutes a war crime against the civilians of Gaza.

The UN chairwoman criticized the U.S. for helping fund Israel's Iron Dome system which has saved countless Israeli and Palestinian lives. "No such protection has been provided to Gazans against the shelling," she said.

Just because Hamas fires rockets indiscriminately aimed at Israeli civilian population centers without provocation and fires them from within its own population centers does not “absolve” Israel from its own legal violations, Pillay told reporters Thursday.
Had Navi Pillay and the 'human rights council' been around in 1945, she would have condemned the United States for not sharing the atomic bomb with Germany and Japan.

Pelosi: 'Qatar told me Hamas is a humanitarian organization'

Nancy Pelosi is a moron. But then you knew that.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) says the United States must look to Qatar, an ally of the terrorist group Hamas, for advice in resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
...
As CNSNews.com reported last week, Qatar is a strong supporter and funder of Hamas. Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal operates from Qatar, and has so far rejected ceasefire proposals put forward by Egypt and promoted by Secretary of State John Kerry.
...
“War is a deadly thing,” Pelosi said on Sunday, speaking about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
“And I have many Palestinians who live in my district, and I am hearing them regularly about how their families are affected who live in the region. It’s a terrible thing. But let me just say that any missile that comes from someplace has a return address. And if Israel is responding to that address, then that’s a shame that the Palestinians are …rumored to be using children and families as shields for their missiles.”
Pelosi said the first thing to do is to “avoid conflict” that “Hamas initiated.”
“[T]his has to be something where we try to have the two-state solution, that we have to support…(Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud) Abbas and his role as a leader there. We have to support Iron Dome to protect the Israelis from the missiles. We have to support the Palestinians and what they need. And we have to confer with the Qataris, who have told me over and over again that Hamas is a humanitarian organization, maybe they could use their influence to –
Crowley interrupted her at that point, and they turned to another topic….
This moron was once third in line to be President of the United States? She makes Biden look intelligent.

Let's go to the videotape.

Rihanna tweets 'Free Palestine,' deletes after 7,000 retweets in eight minutes

This reminds me of the song from A Chorus Line forty years ago. The musical had a song - which I will not post now because it's the three weeks of mourning for the Holy Temples - that described what a woman needs to make it in show business. The lyrics are here. Here's another story that proves you don't need a brain to be a popular entertainer. Just the things described in the song.
Pop superstar Rihanna caused a social media firestorm this week when she tweeted "#FreePalestine" from her official account before deleting it eight minutes later.
In those eight minutes the controversial tweet was retweeted over 7,000 times, according to NY Magazine.

Entertainment news website TMZ claimed that the Barbadian singer removed the tweet after she was inundated with questions from fans asking if she supported Hamas.
Hours after her initial posting was removed, she tweeted "Let's pray for peace and a swift end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict! Is there any hope?....," E! News reported.
This isn't the first time she's gotten into a controversy here, although the last time wasn't as much her fault.
In October 2013 she performed to a crowd of thousands in Tel Aviv. Following the show, Ha'aretz reported that Rihanna substituted the lyric "All I see is dollar signs" with the phrase "All I see is Palestine" in her song "Pour it Up," and the controversy was quickly picked up by Israeli and Arab media, eventually making its way to American aggregators.
It turned out, however, that upon scrutiny of a fan video taken at the concert, Rihanna had in fact performed the original lyrics to the song.
You don't need a brain to be an entertainer.

Playing for the Yankees does not require a brain these days

Please forgive me for starting the day with a baseball post, but this is the most amazing piece of idiocy I can recall in a LONG time.

The Hated Yankees were in Boston last night to play the Red Sox, and here's what happened.

Let's go to the videotape.

In Thursday's Boston Globe, Adam Kaufman slams pitcher Michael Pineda's idiocy.
After days of discussion on the issue, including pregame media conferences and scrums with managers and players during this very series, Pineda decided to press his luck once more, this time layering what looked again to be pine tar on his neck.
How stupid could a person be? Seriously.
This isn’t homerism. If a Red Sox player was under the spotlight for supposed cheating and pulled the same stunt against the same opponent in the very next meeting without fear of penalty, I’d be equally curious how many fruits came in the basket.
With Pineda’s latest stunt, he’ll almost assuredly receive a 10-game suspension. Broken down, that may as well be one game for the use of pine tar, two games for doing it twice, and seven games for belligerent buffoonery.
Red Sox manager John Farrell said prior to the game on Wednesday, “I would expect that if [the pine tar] is used, it will be more discreet than last time.”
Nope.
Not on his hat. Not on his belt. Not on his shoe.
Instead, it glistened off his neck under the evening lights. Give him a hand for trying something different. At least that’d be clean this time.
Farrell didn’t sit back. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Or, as President George W. Bush said…well, you can’t get fooled again.
With that – and a swipe of Pineda’s neck, only 1 2/3 innings into his outing – umpire Gerry Davis made the only call he could. The pitcher was out. It’s amazing Davis didn’t walk back to his post behind the plate laughing the whole way.
Pineda decision was beyond dumb; it was selfish, and it may very well have cost the Yankees the game. Debate the importance of a contest on a chilly night in late-April if you’d like, but all 162 count the same in the end, even for clubs currently in first-place.
The New York Yankees. All the stupidity that money can buy.
