#BlackLivesMatter #JewishLivesDon't?

A group of celebrity #BlackLivesMatter activists calling itself Black-Palestinian Solidarity has set up a website and issued a video supporting the 'Palestinians.'
A year later, the president’s old spiritual leader, Jeremiah Wright, took the microphone at Farrakhan’s #JusticeOrElse rally in D.C. and confounded quite a few with his declaration that “Jesus was a Palestinian.” He was speaking metaphorically, insisting that “the youth in Ferguson and the youth in Palestine have united together to remind us that the dots need to be connected.”
That union isn’t a metaphor: a group called Black-Palestinian Solidarity has launched a website that explains its mission:
We choose to join one another in resistance not because our struggles are the same but because we each struggle against the formidable forces of structural racism and the carceral and lethal technologies deployed to maintain them. This video intends to interrupt that process – to assert our humanity – and to stand together in an affirmation of life and a commitment to resistance.
The group also released a video featuring activists, artists and some familiar faces, including Lauryn Hill, Danny Glover, Alice Walker, Angela Davis, Cornel West, Boots Riley and many others. (Riley is leader of rap group The Coup, which achieved brief notoriety for its album cover featuring Riley holding a prop “detonator” in front of an exploding World Trade Center tower.)
Let's go to the videotape.

Of course, it's all lies. Go here to see more.

And if you think that President Hussein Obama doesn't sympathize with this slick group, you're fooling yourself.

Things haven't changed much in the last 50 years, have they?

As Baltimore disintegrates, the Joooz are blamed

Yes, that flyer is for real (Hat Tip: Jack W).
Last night at a public hearing on the budget in Prince George’s County, Maryland, a flyer with the following headline was circulated:
From Baltimore to Jerusalem It’s the Same Game. In 10 years Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin sent 1.2 billion dollars of Maryland Federal taxpayer money to the Apartheid state of Israel to build schools, roads and other infrastructure while saying Maryland doesn’t have the money to help develop our communities.
...
Who circulated the flyer? Surely, it was supporters of Donna Edwards, the African-American congresswoman who is running against Van Hollen for the Senate. It would be interesting to hear what Edwards has to say about this attack on her rival and a sitting Democratic (Jewish) Senator.
Anti-Israel rants by Black radicals are nothing new; nor is Black anti-Semitism. But injecting them into a Democratic primary campaign via a publicly circulated flyer suggests that the anti-Israel, anti-Semitic Black left has become emboldened.
Why? Perhaps it’s because President Obama has been so eager to attack Israel, though not, of course, as viciously as Edwards’ supporters have. Israel bashing is now acceptable for left-wing Democratic officer holders.
Read the whole thing. But don't hold your breath waiting for American Jews to wake up and vote Republican and donate to Republicans.

That racist Likud

There are no black MK's in the Labor party.

There are no black MK's in Meretz.

But there is one in the Likud.

Of course: 'Palestinians' identify with blacks in Ferguson, Mo.

I don't think this needs too much commentary.
The flip side is that the Ferguson protesters are all running around with 'Palestinian' keffiyehs.

Who says that the US isn't involved in the same battle that we are?

It starts: Mayor of Ashkelon bans Arab workers from schools

It took a little longer than I thought, but good evening from 31,000 feet above the Atlantic. According to my trusty map, we are just about due south of Newfoundland right now, heading across 'the pond.' Air travel in the modern age is quite bizarre. First, we pulled away from the gate and they announced that we have a half hour hold because otherwise we will show up in London before their curfew ends at 6:00 am (you can't land at Heathrow before 6:00). And now we're going over 740 miles an hour and it keeps going up. I don't recall ever going more than a few miles per hour faster than 700....

In the wake of Tuesday's terror attack in Jerusalem, Ashkelon Mayor Itamar Shimoni has banned all Arab workers from his city's schools. 'Temporarily' of course. Here's what it gets rich: The workers were building shelters to protect the kids from Hamas' rocket fire from Gaza. As you might imagine, the Left is seething....
The mayor explained that the increased presence of Arab workers in close proximity to educational institutions is potentially harmful to residents' security, and therefore their employment will stop until the tense security situation improves.
The contractor which performs the work in the schools in the city is employed by the Defense Ministry, and it should be noted that the work carried out in Ashkelon is done by Israeli Arabs and not by Arabs living in Judea and Samaria.
The decision angered Meretz MK Issawi Frej, who accused Shimoni of "racism of the lowest kind.”
“Under the poor excuse of a 'sense of security', Shimoni wishes to make the city of Ashkelon clean of Arabs and contaminate it with anti-Semitic racism,” charged Frej. “I call on Interior Minister Gilad Erdan and on the Chairman of the Local Government Center, Haim Bibas, to publicly condemn Shimoni and ask him to reconsider his decision with all its consequences."
The decision was also condemned by the President of the Israel Democracy Institute, former Kadima MK Yohanan Plesner.
But Shimoni was also condemned by Labor MK Nachman Shai of the 'sane' Left, as well as by Ofer Shelach of Yesh Atid, which is in the coalition (one has to wonder for how long). Here's guessing that Shimoni's decision will stand, at least for now. And here's hoping that every neighborhood in Jerusalem makes the same decision.

The 'Palestinian' flag appears in Ferguson, Missouri

I haven't really been following the story of the race riots in Ferguson, Missouri, but I suppose it was inevitable that the rioters would invoke the cause of the 'Palestinians' as if Israel was to blame for the shooting of a black man who (allegedly) stole cigars from a liquor store.
For some reason, the Palestinian flag made it’s debut yesterday in Ferguson. What does Palestine have to do with Ferguson? Did the Jews do the riots? Or maybe the Jews caused the cop to shoot Michael Brown. Oh wait, I know! The Jews caused Michael Brown to steal $50 worth of cigars from a liquor store before being by the cops. Darn you Zionists!
It’s all too ironic that the Palestinian flag made it’s debut in Ferguson on the same day that Jesse ‘Hymietown’ Jackson decided to go down to Ferguson and milk the situation.
Ironic? I'd say it's far from coincidental.

No good deed goes unpunished: South Africans boo Bush, cheer Obama

George W. Bush was booed in South Africa on Tuesday, while Barack Hussein Obama was wildly cheered. Given the facts, the only explanation I have for that contrast is racism. What a shock....
Former President George W. Bush was booed when he appeared on the video monitor at today’s memorial for Nelson Mandela in Johannesburg, South Africa, according to the White House pool report, which cited local press outlets.
Meanwhile, when the images President Obama and Michelle popped up, there was a 30-second “deafening roar,” the pooler wrote.
How sad. Bush has done an far greater amount for South Africa than Obama. But Obama is much better at crafting his public image and saying the right things.
Bush personally saved the lives of millions of South Africans with his President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, or PEPFAR, ensuring AIDS drugs are available to South Africa’s impoverished masses.
From a Washington Post piece describing how Bush’s achievements were haunting Obama’s June trip to South Africa:
In South Africa, the success ( of PEPFAR) was extraordinary. AIDS killed roughly 2.3 million in South Africa — once one of the worst-affected countries in the world — and orphaned about a million children there, according to the United Nations. Today, rates of infection have fallen to 30 percent, and nearly 2 million people are on antiretroviral drugs.
Meanwhile, Obama has cut PEPFAR funding and generally been his customary inattentive self. From the same Post piece:
AIDS advocates on Sunday said that Obama administration budget cuts that have slashed hundreds of millions of dollars from PEPFAR threaten to turn back years of progress in the fight against the AIDS epidemic. Last year, the administration unveiled a budget that reduces AIDS funding globally by roughly $214 million, the first time an American president has reduced the U.S. commitment to fighting the epidemic since it broke out in the 1980s during the Reagan administration.
Disgraceful... and racist.

Israeli soldier called a racist beccause he never raped a 'Palestinian'

But for the fact that we have heard similar accusations made in the past, I would find this story beyond belief. A former IDF soldier on a speaking tour of US college campuses in the Pacific Northwest suffered from charges of 'racism' because he never - and didn't know of any other IDF soldier who had - raped a 'Palestinian' woman.
BDS rhetoric makes Nazi rhetoric look sensible and reasonable because it taps into whatever dementia is in the air.
At a BDS event in Portland, a professor from a Seattle university told the assembled crowd that the Jews of Israel have no national rights and should be forced out of the country. When I asked, “Where do you want them to go?” she calmly answered, “I don’t care. I don’t care if they don’t have any place else to go. They should not be there.”
When I responded that she was calling for ethnic cleansing, both she and her supporters denied it.
And during a presentation in Seattle, I spoke about my longing for peace between Israel and the Palestinians. When I was done, a woman in her 60’s stood up and yelled at me, “You are worse than the Nazis. You are just like the Nazi youth!”
A number of times I was repeatedly accused of being a killer, though I have never hurt anyone in my life.
On other occasions, anti-Israel activists called me a rapist. The claims go beyond being absurd – in one case, a professor asked me if I knew how many Palestinians have been raped by IDF forces. I answered that as far as I knew, none.
She triumphantly responded that I was right, because, she said, “You IDF soldiers don’t rape Palestinians because Israelis are so racist and disgusted by them that you won’t touch them.”
You’re a rapist? You’re not a rapist? Why do you hate Palestinian Arab women? Why won’t you rape them? You’re a racist!
Read the whole thing.

Other than Jews, is there any other group in the world about whom such a lie would be taken seriously?

And by the way, those of you in the US with college-age children: Is this the education you want them to have?

Livni: Coalition members have 'collective responsibility' to blindly support 'peace process'

Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, whose party has six of the 68 seats in the coalition, is insisting that the other members of the coalition have a 'collective responsibility' to blindly support the 'peace process.'
Livni, speaking to Army Radio, appeared to be directing her comments at Bayit Yehudi Leader Naftali Bennett and former foreign minister and Israel Beytenu chief Avigdor Liberman's after they inferred Israel's negotiating partner Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is an anti-Semite.
"I know that there are partners in the coalition that are not interested in a two state solution, but they have a collective responsibility and as long as they are part of the coalition they must support negotiations," Bennett said after Abbas said that no Israeli settlers or border forces could remain in a future Palestinian state and that Palestinians deem illegal all Jewish settlement building within the land occupied in the 1967 Six Days War.
“The president of the Palestinian Authority said he doesn’t want to see any Israelis on his land. Bad things happen when good people are silent. Good people need to act,” Bennett said yesterday.
Isn't it amazing how Livni (and the Americans) are giving the racist Abu Mazen a pass? Can you imagine what the reaction would be if an Israeli politician said that we don't want Ethiopians in Tel Aviv or if an American politician said that they don't want blacks in Greenwich, Connecticut (one of the richest cities in the US)? And rightfully so. So why does Abu Mazen get a pass?

Livni's bigger problem is that most of the Likud does not support the 'peace process' and has long since moved on from a 'two-state solution.'
Likud MK Miri Regev told Israel Radio on Wednesday that there was not majority support in her faction for the idea of a two state solution.
I will tell you where I see this going, and it's not a good place. Livni will come back with a 'deal' that no Israeli can accept. Netanyahu won't even be able to get it through the cabinet, let alone the Knesset (although he'll try). And then we'll have an explosion.

What could go wrong?

Who's a racist?

This article by Gonen Ginat is spot-on.

But that is not the real problem. The Israeli Left demanding the release of racist murderers is nothing new. One could even almost understand the government's decision to release killers: Not all the decisions made at the Prime Minister's Office are of the convenient variety. Sometimes you need to push the other side to a point where they are the ones refusing to cooperate, and not you. And it is very often true what they say: Things look different from the other side.

The problem is this: In demanding the release of racist murderers, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is declaring that he is not a partner. Racially motivated murders are the polar opposite of peace. You can't negotiate peace while simultaneously revering terrorists as heroes. Anyone demanding the release of racist killers is thereby declaring that he is not interested in peace.
As soon as the request for the release of these despicable killers was submitted, we should have announced that anyone who makes such a demand is basically proving that they do not want peace. The fact that Abbas is a Holocaust denier seeking to free racist murderers should render him unfit as a partner for anything.

Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee piles on against George Zimmerman

The Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee has sent an email to supporters announcing that they are partnering with the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) to demand that the United States Justice Department prosecute George Zimmerman for violating the civil rights of Trayvon Martin.
The email opens with these words:
By now, you have probably heard that a Florida jury found George Zimmerman not guilty of murdering Trayvon Martin.
When a teenager's life is taken in cold blood and there is no accountability for the man who killed him, nothing seems right in the world. But we cannot lose hope. We can still achieve justice for Trayvon!
Maybe the ADC believed the claim that Zimmerman is a Jew.  After all, the ADC honored former White House reporter Helen Thomas after she had been completely exposed as an anti-Semite.

Bank of Israel Chairman: Haredi birth rate 'a problem'

Bank of Israel Chairman Stanley Fischer, who is resigning from his post, complained in his farewell address that the Haredi birth rate is 'a problem' (Hat Tip: Aryeh Z).
“The economy is facing several challenges, which is basically a nice word for ‘problems,’” Fischer told his audience. “Poverty is a central issue. There is intolerable poverty in the hareidi and Arab sectors. It must be dealt with.”
Hareidi and Arab lifestyles play a large part, he noted, citing low participation in the workforce as an example. However, he said, the state of Israel cannot use that as an excuse, but rather, must encourage adults in those sectors to join the workforce.
Fischer then made a more controversial statement, “Another problem is the demographic problem. The growth rate in the hareidi population is 4.2%, which means the hareidi population will double within 17 years. The Arab population will double within 25 years, while the rest of the population has a 1.7% growth rate, meaning it will double itself in 40 years.”
If the trends continue, he warned, secular Israelis will be in the minority within 50 years.
Polls show that only 20% of Israelis self-define as secular. Fischer was apparently referring to all Israelis who are not religious Muslims or orthodox Jews as secular.
Something tells me that Fischer didn't make comments like that when he was a banker in the US. He wouldn't have had a career left. But here in Israel, making comments that are worthy of Der Sturmer is acceptable so long as the comments are limited to attacking Haredi Jews.

Major report into racism on Facebook

A major report into racism on Facebook is to be released on Thursday morning in Australia -  a couple of hours from now. Here is the press release that's accompanying the report.
On the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, March 21st, the Online Hate Prevention Institute (OHPI) will release a major new report into Racism on Facebook.

The report documents systemic shortcomings and significant blind spots. The new report focuses on antisemitic content and follows a major report last year into racism on Facebook and other platforms against Indigenous Australians. This report shows Facebook having difficulty identifying racism directly based on Nazi propaganda; consistently refusing to recognize as hate speech pages promoting the famous antisemitic forgery used to inspire mass killings, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion; and failing to take action on new antisemitism which uses Holocaust inversion to paint Israel and Jews as Nazis. These blind spots can be added to the known difficultyFacebook has in recognizing Holocaust denial as Hate Speech.

The report provides documentation of 47 items, most of them Facebook pages, and gives visual examples of the hate encountered. Of the 47 items, some of which date back to October, 15 of these items are still available on Facebook.

OHPI’s CEO, Dr Andre Oboler, explains: “The items that remain online are there as a result of a deliberate decision by Facebook to dismiss the concerns that have been expressed to them over these items. Having shared an early draft of our new report with Facebook at the start ofFebruary, none of the items discussed in this report should take Facebook by surprise.

The decision not to take action on certain types of content, like the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, is clearly a matter of Facebook policy, and not an isolated mistake by junior staff.”

Dr Oboler added that, “Facebook will have seen almost all the images in this report before, the major exception is a picture of Mark Zuckerberg with the comment, from another user: ‘someone should cut his head off!’ This content is still online, it is on a page OHPI previously recommended Facebook close. As I think of the Journalist Daniel Pearl, killed in exactly this way, simply for being a Jew, I must ask Mark Zuckerberg to do a little more; if not for his own sake, for that of others.”

On this International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, OHPI is please to share this important work with the public, disappointed such hate still exists, and hopeful that our recommendation can help make a difference if Facebook chooses to adopt them. The report will be released by 10am, Melbourne time, at: http://ohpi.org.au/recognizing-hate-speech-antisemitism-on-facebook/
And not a mention of 'Islamophobia.' Hmmm.

Jodi Rudoren gets suckered

To read Jodi Rudoren in Friday's New York Times, you'd think the only problem between Jews and Arabs is racism.
“The Temple Mount is in our hands,” chanted the notoriously aggressive fans of the home team, Beitar Jerusalem.
The visitors from Umm al-Fahm, an Arab-Israeli town, had their own provocations. “With blood and fire, we will liberate Palestine,” they called in Hebrew.
The angry, defiant exchanges that punctuated Tuesday night’s unusually tense game here came amid intense protests by Beitar Jerusalem supporters over the team owner’s plans to recruit two Muslim players from Chechnya. Some young men had unfurled a banner at the previous game declaring “Beitar pure forever,” which reminded many here of Nazi Germany’s purging of Jews from athletics in 1933 and prompted statewide discussion about racism on and off the field.
“People in Israel usually try to locate Beitar Jerusalem as some kind of the more extreme fringe; this is a way to overcome the embarrassment,” said Moshe Zimmermann, a historian at Hebrew University who specializes in sports. “The fact is that the Israeli society on the whole is getting more racist, or at least more ethnocentric, and this is an expression.”
Reaction to the purity banner, perhaps the most controversial in a series of Beitar outbursts, was swift. One of the fans who made the sign was arrested and banned from games for the season. Fifty more were barred from Tuesday’s match, along with banners of all kinds, and the team was fined about $13,500, amid concerns that the episode could threaten Israel’s scheduled hosting of a European Under 21 soccer tournament in June.
What's wrong with this picture? Lots. For starters, Beitar's fans don't exactly reflect Israel's general public. For seconds, where else in the world are fans arrested for unfurling a banner? Third, why did the Beitar fans get into trouble while the Um-el-Fahm fans did not (their chant has been the chant of Arab terror organizations for decades)? And why does his incident rate more coverage than much more violent incidents involving attacks on Israeli teams playing in Turkey, France, Bosnia and Sweden over the past few years?

And as to  her expert, Moshe Zimmermann, he is a professor of German History, with no mention of sports in his Wikipedia profile. On his Hebrew U profile, sports is the last interest listed. It fits with nothing else in his profile.

And by  the way, Rudoren neglects to mention what Zimmerman is best known for in Israel. It was Zimmerman who likened the IDF to Nazis.

Maybe he was looking for an excuse to attack Israeli society?

Much, much more here.

Shabbat Shalom.

America has become an Old World country

A great comment about the US election from the UK.
The saddest development is the one that is most counter-intuitive. Mr Obama – who famously ran in 2008 as the post-racial candidate – has polarised the nation racially in a way that it has not been for half a century, reversing what had been the progressive trend toward real social integration and colour blindness in American political life. Ninety-three per cent of black voters – 93 per cent – voted for Obama in this election, as did 71 per cent of Latino voters and 73 per cent of Asian ones. But if non-white ethnic groups are choosing to segregate themselves electorally – quite often with little regard for their actual economic or social interests – white voters are not. Only 59 per cent of them supported Romney: a majority but not an overwhelming one. Some of this was down to the class war issue: blue collar voters were encouraged to see Romney as a rapacious capitalist who would destroy people’s livelihoods if the balance sheet dictated it.
But that was an unfortunate consequence of this particular candidate’s credentials. There is a more historically significant, and possibly more permanent, development too. The United States has now acquired an electorally powerful liberal bourgeoisie who are convinced, as their European counterparts have been for several generations, in spite of all evidence to the contrary, that public spending is inherently virtuous, that poverty can be cured by penalising wealth creation, and that government intervention can engineer social “fairness”. But just when some of Europe’s political class has begun to appreciate the dangers of this philosophy – that taken to its logical conclusion, it leads to economic stagnation and social division – America seems to have decided that it is the quintessence of enlightened sophistication.

...

But something has changed. The Protestant ethic that ruled my childhood has been downgraded. When I was at university in America in the Sixties, I had friends whose parents were rich. But there was never any question that the children would have to earn their own living. After graduation, and even during the summer holidays, they were expected to find jobs. Eventually they might be absorbed into the family business but even then, they would probably start at the bottom and work their way up. I have been truly shocked to discover that America now has a “trustafarian” generation: trust fund babies who live on what we euphemistically call “private incomes”.
Rich parents no longer demand that their children make their own way. So there is a whole tranche of adults in the United States now who will never work for a living: an idea that would once have been virtually unthinkable. One of the most damaging facts that came to light about John Kennedy when he was running for president was that his father had given him a million dollars so that he could devote all his time to running for political office: an indulgence that was regarded as almost sinful.
With unearned wealth comes guilt and from that comes paternalism: the idea that you are obliged to elect a government that will take responsibility for all those people who are worse off than you – and not just by providing them with opportunities to better themselves in the traditional American way. American voters still want jobs – the mantra of Romney’s campaign still held for half the population – but they are less convinced that work is the only route to salvation. Which is a pity because it remains far and away the best and most permanent route out of poverty. The United States always had its share of poor people but, until recently, when welfare dependency created a permanent underclass, they were not the same people from one decade to another. The whole point was to move up and out of hardship, as wave after wave of newcomers did.
And what the author doesn't say: When there's class warfare, guess who becomes the victim.... Yes, the Jews.

Side by side comparison of two Obama speeches on race

Here's more on Obama's racism. Here's a side-by-side comparison between the speech in the previous post and Obama's speech on racism in light of the Jeremiah Wright controversy. Note the contrast.

Obama's real views on race

I'm sure you'll all be shocked to hear that Barack Hussein Obama is not post-racial. In fact, he's a racist. Here's a never-before seen speech made by Candidate Obama in 2007. In it, he claims that the government treated majority-black New Orleans differently after Hurricane Katrina than it treated New York City after 9/11 or Florida after Hurricane Andrew. That's a lie, by the way (Hat Tip: Memeorandum).

Let's go to the videotape (Hat Tip: Jack W).

Here's a second part of the speech. Let's go to the videotape.

And here's the full 36-minute speech.

Let's go to the videotape.

Read the whole thing.

And the connection to Israel? Frankly, anything I can post that might convince someone not to vote for Obama is pro-Israel in my book. Especially when what I post shows that he's a liar.

'If we luck out, we might be able to elect future presidents based on the content of their character, not the color of their skin'

James Lewis unloads on President Obama (Hat Tip for image: Jack W).
Iran's Armageddon cult now has Obama at its mercy. After appeasing the sadistic regime in Tehran for almost four years Obama only has to make it through the next two months without the Middle East blowing up, and he's set for life. This is the last electoral test of his career, and maybe also the first real election he's ever had to endure.

Obama's political bind puts the mullahs in charge for the next two months, rushing to an irreversible grab for nuclear weapons. Obama will not do anything to stop them, because that would mean taking a career risk. He has never taken a risk that might endanger his political career. Never.

As a result, the United States has all the capability for destroying Iranian nuclear weapons before they break out, but we won't use our might, because Obama cares about himself more than the safety of the world. Israel is a pawn in this game, but the real stakes are the Muslim Ascendancy -- world power for the rising nuclear caliphates of the Muslim Middle East: Egypt, Turkey and Iran.

Israel is the scapegoat for a rising great power struggle, in which the left has taken sides against civilization. If that seems harsh, read Paul Johnson's life of Winston Churchill or Niall Ferguson's fine book Civilization: The West and the Rest --- and you see it happening again, right in front of our eyes. The Russians, the Muslims and the Chinese read history. Liberals don't read history, because they prefer to live in delusion. It's a choice.

...

Thirty years ago Khomeini suckered Jimmy Carter and Zbig Brzezinski in Iran until he was ready to humiliate them. The US Embassy occupation was Khomeini's way of humiliating the United States, to show we were a paper tiger. Then Reagan took over and the US diplomats were released in record time. The mullahs are sadistic, but they backed down in the face of overwhelming power. Obama won't use the only kind of power they will recognize, so that the Saudis, who hate the mullahs, are being driven into their arms.

Today the mullahs have Obama in a Zugzwang, a double bind. He can't act against them because they've got his number by now. He can't afford not to act, because millions of sleeping US voters might finally wake up to his dangerous failures in the Middle East, not to mention our faltering economy. Rather than driving events, Obama has been cornered.

In typical Obama fashion he is blaming the victim, the people of Israel.

...

The United States now stands with the forces of destruction, the forces of women's oppression. American feminists couldn't care less, because they don't care about women, any more than Stalin cared about peasants and workers. The twenty-year genocidal Sudanese regime is sitting on the UN Human Rights Commission, along with Iran and other sadistic tyrannies. The nuclear horse is out of the barn in Asia and the Middle East, while America and Europe are being driven into bankruptcy by the same ruling elite that bashes its democratic opponents, the real enemy in their eyes. Obama leaks word that his favorite bedtime reading is "American declinism" -- a good thing, apparently, to our worst president.

If you point out those facts you're a racist, and the average American is more afraid of being accused of racism than murder. After only four years in power Obama has the ship of state rocking dangerously back and forth, with Arctic icebergs floating ever closer. The ship's captain is drunk on power and ego, and his inner circle hate the ship. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs just told the world he would not want to be "complicit" in Israel's effort to defend itself from a genocidal enemy. "Complicit." Yes, that's what he said, and in this gang you know the word is coming from the top.

...

This is the Carter-Reagan election of 1980, where we barely escaped Jimmy Carter's "declinism" by the skin of our teeth. It's the Chamberlain-Churchill struggle that saved Britain from the Nazis, after dreadful suffering. It's the surrender of the Sudetenland to Hitler, and the Yalta surrender to Stalin.

Mind-locked ideologues like Obama always make things worse. They surrender to aggressive radicals, hoping the crocodile will swallow them last. But nuclear crocodiles don't have to play nice.

Obama wants to be historic, and he is. He will be remembered, not as the first black president of the United States, but as the worst black president of the United States. That is unfortunate, but history will judge by performance even if the voters are suckered.

If we luck out, we might be able to elect future presidents based on the content of their character, not the color of their skin.
Indeed. Read the whole thing.
