My friend Professor Jacobson cites a New York Times report that purports to reveal to the world that the eleven Israeli athletes and coaches who were murdered at the Munich Olympics in 1972 were tortured, and in at least one case, castrated.
In September 1992, two Israeli widows went to the home of
their lawyer. When the women arrived, the lawyer told them that he had
received some photographs during his recent trip to Munich but that he
did not think they should view them. When they insisted, he urged them
to let him call a doctor who could be present when they did.
Ilana Romano and Ankie Spitzer, whose husbands were among the Israeli
athletes held hostage and killed by Palestinian terrorists at the 1972
Olympics in Munich, rejected that request, too. They looked at the
pictures that for decades they had been told did not exist, and then
agreed never to discuss them publicly….
For the first time, Ms. Romano, Ms. Spitzer and other victims’ family
members are choosing to speak openly about documentation previously
unknown to the public in an effort to get their loved ones the
recognition they believe is deserved.
Among the most jarring details are these: The Israeli Olympic team members were beaten and, in at least one case, castrated.
“What they did is that they cut off his genitals through his
underwear and abused him,” Ms. Romano said of her husband, Yossef. Her
voice rose.
“Can you imagine the nine others sitting around tied up?” she
continued, speaking in Hebrew through a translator. “They watched this.”
In fact, readers of this blog might recall that Ilana Romano has revealed even more gruesome details on a previous occasion.
In
1996, I, along with other Munich orphans and three of the widows, were
invited for the first time to the Olympic Games in Atlanta. Before the
Opening Ceremony, we met with Alex Gilady. Gilady has been a member of
the IOC's Radio and Television Commission since 1984 and has been the
senior vice president of NBC Sports since 1996.
I have known Mr.
Gilady since I was a kid; in fact, I grew up with his daughter. He had
been supportive in the past regarding our plea for a moment of silence
during the Opening Ceremonies, so we arrived with high hopes. Gilady
informed us that a moment of silence was not possible because if the IOC
had a moment of silence for the Israeli athletes, they would also have
to do the same for the Palestinians who died at the Olympics in 1972.
My mother said, "But no Palestinian athletes died."
Gilady responded, "Well, there were Palestinians who died at the 1972 Olympics."
I heard one of the widows say to Gilady, "Are you equating the murder of my husband to the terrorists that killed him?"
Silence.
Then
Ilana Romano burst out with a cry that has haunted me to this day. She
screamed at Gilady, "How DARE you! You KNOW what they did to my husband!
They let him lay there for hours, dying slowly, and then finished him
off by castrating him and shoving it in his mouth, ALEX!"

said he was so traumatised by what he saw he has had to seek
counselling.
Bomb disposal experts with sniffer dogs were yesterday painstakingly
combing the part of the building still standing for explosives before
clearing forensic officers, police and troops to search for bodies.
Just last week, Palestinian Media Watch showed a terrorist from the 'moderate' Fatah terror group eating a live snake on television.

Israeli government sources: Iranian windfall from nuke sellout is $700 billion
The windfall to Iran from the lifting of sanctions comes to $700 billion according to Israeli government sources cited by former Israeli Ambassador to the United States Michael Oren.
Instead of blocking Iran’s path to nuclear weaponry, the deal, in
fact, provides two paths. Under its terms, Iran could develop advanced
centrifuges capable of enriching uranium at 20 times the current rate.
By repeatedly exploiting the 24-day head start that the deal affords
Iran before it has to let international inspectors visit a suspected
site, the ayatollahs could cheat and make a bomb well within the deal’s
10-year time frame.
Or Iran could comply with the agreement and emerge with all of
its nuclear facilities intact and thousands of advanced centrifuges that
can produce an entire arsenal of bombs in virtually no time at all.
And
while Iran likely chooses between these two paths to atomic bombs, its
neighbors, beginning with Saudi Arabia, would rush to acquire their own.
The result would be a strategic arms race that would transform the
already unstable Middle East into a nuclear powder keg.
In the
interim, Iran would be released from the sanctions that took the world a
decade to impose. These cannot be “snapped back” if Iran were to
violate the deal, as its defenders contend, but reinstated only after a
lengthy international process that excludes all the contracts signed by
Iran before it were to cheat. As such, the deal serves as an incentive
for foreign companies to sign a great number of short- and medium-term
contracts with Iran. The windfall is estimated to reach $700 billion,
according to Israeli government sources.
That cash could be used
by Iran to fund its global terrorist network, its efforts to overthrow
pro-Western governments in the Middle East, and its continuing massacre
of Syrians, Palestinians and Yemenis. The money could purchase the
world’s most advanced weapons systems, all of which the deal would make
available to Iran by eventually lifting the arms embargo. Iran could
upgrade the 100,000 rockets in Hezbollah’s arsenal with independent
guidance systems capable of targeting any site in Israel — oil
refineries, airports, even the Knesset. The Jewish state will face its
first conventional strategic threat in more than 40 years.
Finally, Iran
could invest in extending the range of its intercontinental ballistic
missiles, the sole purpose of which is to carry nuclear warheads.
Intelligence sources estimate that, in a few years, Iranian ICBMs will
be able to hit the United States’ East Coast.
All of these activities could be coordinated by Iranian military
commander Qassem Suleimani and Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, father of Iran’s
nuclear weaponization program, whose United Nations sanctions reportedly
are being lifted. Meanwhile, Iran’s centrifuges would continue to spin.
And American security forces that once tried to penetrate Iran’s
nuclear program would then — astonishingly, according to the deal’s
Annex 3, Section D10 — be obligated to help protect it.
But it's okay. By the time Iran is capable of hitting the United States, President Obama and Mooch will have retired to Kenya.

Obama did NOT attend the funeral of his late aunt ZEITUNI ONYANGO. Instead, he went GOLFING.
After Zeituni Onyango, the woman OBAMA once called Auntie, died in a South Boston nursing home this month, her closest relatives gathered her belongings at her nearby apartment. There, framed photographs of her with the President covered the wall.
Weeping before a polished wood coffin at her wake this past Saturday, they described Ms. Onyango, the half-sister of the President’s father, as “the spirit of the OBAMA family” and talked about raising money to send her body back to Kenya. Mr. Obama sent a condolence note, Ms. Onyango’s family members said, but the President did NOT attend, as he was GOLFING.

The first pictures taken inside the site show a gaping hole in the mall's roof after three storeys collapsed when Kenyan soldiers fired rocket-propelled grenades inside the complex, knocking out a support column, a government official said.
Children's buggies are left abandoned just metres from the yawning pit, as cars hang precariously over the edge. Beneath many more vehicles lie on top of each other, smashed to pieces.
The collapse happened on Monday when government troops launched a massive assault on the mall where up to 150 people are thought to have been killed.
During the firefight, hostages reportedly had their throats slashed from ear to ear and were thrown screaming from third-floor balconies as the siege came to a bloody end. Forensics teams, still sifting through the mountains of rubble, fear many more bodies are yet to be found.
Shell-shocked Kenyan troops said the inside of the Israeli-run mall resembled a ‘scene from a horror movie’ with blood spattered everywhere and dead bodies strewn across the floor.

A loud explosion has sent thick smoke billowing from
the Westgate shopping complex in Nairobi where 69 people, including four
Britons, have died in a raid by Islamic militants.
The blast was followed by other smaller detonations and volleys of
gunfire as Kenyan troops laid siege to the four-story complex.
A security official told reporters at the scene: "It is us who caused the explosion, we are trying to get in through the roof."
Sky’s Stuart Ramsay said he had been told some of the al Shebaab
terrorists had blown themselves up while others has been "taken out" by
Kenyan special forces.

"We have managed to rescue more hostages overnight and very few are
remaining," said Kenyan police chief David Kimaiyo. "We are also closing
in on the attackers."
Officials said up to 15 may still be inside the building. They have
apparently been using the remaining hostages as human shields and have
threatened to kill them.

Kenyan military spokesman Colonel Cyrus Oguna told Sky News: "We do not
negotiate with terrorists and that position has not changed. Everyone
who has been rescued is being checked to make sure none of the
terrorists escaped during the dragnet."
Kenya's President Uhuru Kenyatta said there have been "numerous offers
of assistance from friendly countries" to end the stand-off, but that
for now it remains a Kenyan operation.
However, a Kenyan security source has confirmed that Israeli agents
"are rescuing the hostages and the injured". The Westgate shopping
complex is part Israeli-owned.
Britain's SAS is also reportedly helping out in an advisory role, along with US agents..
The Kenyan Red Cross says 69 people have been killed, at least 63
remain missing and around 200 have been injured. Five of these are said
to be from the US.
Police have conceded the number of dead could be "much, much higher",
after reports emerged that there are multiple fatalities still inside
the centre.

As I'm sure most of you have already heard, a group of some 15 jihadis invaded the Westgate Mall in Nairobi, Kenya on Saturday, rounded up as many people as they could, released the Muslims and started murdering everyone else. At least count, 59 people had been murdered, 175 wounded, and the jihadis were still holding some 30 hostages.
Where is the media coverage? This is Obama's
native land -- where is his condemnation of the vicious sharia? His
silence is sanction and support.
Of course, the problem is those of us who speak against this
savagery. Not the savages. Have Muslim groups held an emergency press
conference to denounce jihad and the Islamic texts and teachings that
command these monstrous mass slaughters?

Gunmen who opened fire at a shopping centre killing at least 25 and
injuring dozens more today let muslims go free if they could prove they
were Islamic.
Witnesses caught up in the attack at Westlands Shopping Centre, in the
Kenyan capital Nairobi, said anyone who could recite a muslim prayer to
their captors was allowed to leave unscathed.
But the attackers turned their guns on anyone who could not prove their Islamic credentials.
Sir Simon Fraser, the Foreign Office's chief civil servant and head of
the Diplomatic Service, said on Twitter that Britons had been caught up
in the incident.
He posted: '@foreignoffice (The Foreign Office) and @UKinKenya (British
High Commission) working hard on Nairobi shooting and hostage crisis to
help all involved esp Brits.'
Sky News is reporting that the US State Department has confirmed US citizens are among the casualties.
But US citizens (and Brits) aren't just among the casualties. They're also among the terrorists.

"The Israelis have just entered and they are rescuing the hostages and the injured," AFP quoted a security source as saying.
The Jerusalem Post could not confirm the veracity of the report.
Reuters
quoted an Israeli security source as saying Israeli advisers were
helping Kenya with "negotiating strategy" to help end the siege.
"There are Israeli advisers helping with the negotiating
strategy, but no Israelis involved in any imminent storming
operation," said the source, who gave no further details and
asked not to be identified.
The source said only a "handful" of
Israelis, "purely in an advisory role", were on scene at the upscale
Westgate shopping center, which has several Israeli-owned outlets and is
frequented by expatriates and Kenyans.
An Israeli source in
Nairobi said all Israelis who were in the mall at the time of the attack
had made it out safely, with the last three rescued overnight.
There were conflicting reports from other security sources in Nairobi about the part Israel was playing.
One
Kenyan security source, who asked not to be identified, told Reuters
that the Israeli military was involved in the operation, while a private
security official also said they were helping comb the mall.
But Kenyan Interior Minister Joseph Ole Lenku insisted it was a national operation, despite offers of foreign support.
