Hamas releases new animated video about Gilad Shalit

Hamas posted a new animated video about Gilad Shalit on the Izzedin al-Kassam (their 'armed brigades') website on Sunday.

Let's go to the videotape.

JPost adds:
[T]he clip shows the moment the soldier was kidnapped on the Gaza border four years ago. The tank in which Schalit was traveling is shown exploding, and the words, "The illusion is shattering" appear in Arabic, along with the date of the raid.
Of course, this video and others like it are designed to put psychological pressure on the Israeli government to release thousands of terrorists in exchange for Shalit. For reasons I have discussed many times, for Israel to do so would be suicidal.

Here's more reason if you need it, why rewarding Hamas is wrong and why Israel's government should not do it. A band of thugs and kidnappers does not deserve to be rewarded for torturing a family for years. And all of Israel should not be placed at risk because of the contemptible pressure they place on Israel to release thousands of terrorists to murder more Jews again. Israel's media can't see the big picture clearly. I can and do.

What could go wrong indeed
