The circle of life in Gaza: All you need to know about Israeli 'atrocities' in 1:22

This is a very clever video.

Let's go to the videotape (Hat Tip: American Thinker).

Its a very funny clip that makes a serious point - when the West rewards Hamas extremism, it gets more of it.

And to judge by the international commentary, the fact that Hamas is for all practical extents and purposes a fascist genocidal organization like the Nazi Party has to be brushed aside to achieve the elusive dream of "peace in our time."

The circle of life in Gaza depicted in the clip won't be broken as long as the West insists on refusing to face the reality some parties in the Middle East simply do not want peace. Pressuring Benjamin Netanyahu to get on as it were with the program won't change that picture.

Many otherwise well-meaning supporters of Israel (and even some in the GOI) err in believing that those involved in mediating the conflict, i.e., Tony Blair, Javier Solana, Obama, are obtuse or simply "don't get it" with respect to the raison d'etre of Hamas, Fatah, and other Palestinian groups. These supporters believe that if only world leaders can be led to understand the gravity of the situation for Israeli Jews and the nature of the (Islamic) beast, they will come around to Israel's way of thinking. Hence the perennial tours of Yad Vashem and Sderot.

Blair, Solana, Obama, et al are not -- I repeat ARE NOT -- stupid. These people are extremely well-read, well-informed and completely understand the history and contemporary issues surrounding the conflict. That they continue to press Israel for concessions and for a Palestinian state despite the stark realities, reflects not ignorance but a consensus of purpose with the Arabs.

Israel is very much on her own over at least the next 3 1/2 years. I pray that Bibi has spent considerably less time preparing for Plan "A", i.e., persuading Obama to support Israel in her battles against Iran and Arab terrorism and considerably more time on Plan "B".

FinanceDoc,

Agreed.

I would put the people who keep telling us that a 'Palestinian state' is not a priority for Obama in the same category. Is Obama being irrational about it? Sure, but it's not going to change the reality that for him a 'Palestinian state' is THE priority - more than stopping Iran. We have to be realistic and deal with it.
