A comparison

This is WAY off topic, but as an ex-pat American I could not resist posting it.

Let's go to the videotape.

Compare the first sentence (especially) of that video with this video. Let's go to the videotape:

Obama
by krs601

Which one is the patriot? Which one would you rather have as 'first lady'? The answer to both questions is obvious. Carrie Prejean has more patriotism and class in her baby finger than Michelle Obama will ever have in her entire body.

It's all about them: The First Skank and His Lordship of Swagger Hussein - 2 pathological narcissists.

Next to them, actually, in spite of them, Carrie is truly a patriot. She deserves a purple heart for her battle wounds and defense of the Constitution.

Pity - We here in Israel have an enormous battle ahead with a very dangerous, even lethal, US thugocracy.

well we are also worry here in america...were concerned for israel as well as for our safety.obama hates america as much as he dislike israel.....he bullying people into doing things they normally wouldn't..we well no longer have a capitalistic system.he more marist then anything and with a adoring press he able to get a way with it.we have no leader that has the courage to stand up to him while he dismantles america.but you do have a strong leader and he loves his country more then he loves being popular.israel well have no friend in washington but she has many americans friends that pray for her safety.................

kj37,

The 'first lady's love for her country ought not to be dependent on whether or not her husband receives the nomination for or is elected President. That's a rather petty attitude to say the least.

I believe her exact quote is:
"...for the first time in my adult life I'm proud of my country, not just because Barack has done well but because people are hungry for change..."

saying her "love for country" is dependent on whether he wins is streeeeeeetching the truth a bit I think. And whether she is patriotic or not? well, regardless of whether she likes or dislikes the way the country is going , she still thinks of it as "her country" and will work to move it in the direction she thinks is right... sounds pretty patriotic to me.
