Israelis figure out how to turn marijuana into heroin?
Well, only in the 'Palestinians' fantasyland.
Official spokesman of the PA Security Forces Adnan Al-Damiri: "The
challenges facing us... [are] drugs. You don't know how many problems
we've had these past two weeks... A shocking amount of drugs that the
Israeli occupation has spit up and vomited onto our land. A lab was even
made in the Tulkarem District. The lab turning marijuana into heroin
has been seized [by the PA]."
[Official PA TV Live, Feb. 12, 2014]
Let's go to the videotape.
Well, it makes a good headline anyway. But no, it's nonsense.

Hezbullah invades America's Southwest
If they're running drugs from Mexico, I suppose it's inevitable that they're also in the
American Southwest.
Terrorism expert Matthew Levitt writes
that an increasing number of U.S. prison inmates have tattoos that are
pro-Hezbollah or are in Farsi, the language spoken in Iran. The claim is
made in Levitt’s new book, Hezbollah: The Global Footprint of Lebanon's Party of God.
“Law enforcement officials across the
Southwest are reporting a rise in imprisoned gang members with Farsi
tattoos” and some express loyalty to Hezbollah.
His book includes an eye-opening quote
from another official: “You could almost pick your city and you would
probably have a [Hezbollah] presence.”
Hezbollah’s business relationship with Mexican drug cartels is seen as a driving force behind the phenomenon.
Let's go to the videotape.
Read it all. And think about what will happen if the Obama administration succeeds in making them all legal.

'Peace partner' accuses Israel of selling drugs to its children

Just one day after Iranian Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi claimed that Jews were the World's drug dealers, our 'moderate' 'peace partner, the 'Palestinian Authority,' published no less than five articles in its official newspaper,
al-Hayat al-Jadida, accusing Israel of
providing drugs to 'Palestinian' children.
One day after Iranian Vice President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi was condemned internationally for saying that Jews and their Talmud are responsible for international drug trafficking, no less than five articles in the official PA daily cited different Palestinian Authority officials accusing Israel of having a policy to disseminate drugs among Palestinian youth.
The Governor of Jericho said that Israel "is encouraging and turning a blind eye to [drug] dealers and their efforts to distribute drugs, through a systematic policy to destroy Palestinian society, targeting the youth."
The District Governor of Jenin said Israel "seeks to harm the Palestinian people and to destroy it and its national enterprise [through drugs] as a continuation of its Zionist enterprise."
The District Governor of Ramallah spoke about the drug problem, mentioning Israel's "efforts to humiliate our youth, to break their willpower, and to distance them from their [Palestinian] cause and their principles, by spreading drugs among them" and emphasized that "the occupation does not hesitate to exercise all forms of control over our youth, using dirty and inhuman methods."
This is not the first time that Israel has been accused by the PA of intentionally spreading drugs. Advisor to Prime Minister Salam Fayyad has claimed that Israel "spreads prostitution and drugs" among Arab residents of Jerusalem. [PA TV (Fatah), June 23, 2010]
The PA has also accused Israel of spreading AIDS among Palestinians.
Read the whole thing. This is certainly 'helpful' to the chances for peace.

Iranian Vice President says Talmud instructs Jews to suck blood of non-Jewish infants

Iran's first Vice President, Mohammad Reza Rahimi, told a United Nations conference in Tehran on Tuesday that the Talmud
instructs Jews to suck the blood of non-Jewish infants, and blamed the Talmud for the spread of drug addiction around the world.
Mr. Rahimi, second in line to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, said the Talmud teaches to “destroy everyone who opposes the Jews.”
The “Zionists” are in firm control of the illegal drug trade, Mr. Rahimi said, asking foreign dignitaries to research his claims. “Zionists” is Iran’s ideological term for Jews who support the state of Israel.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran will pay for anybody who can research and find one single Zionist who is an addict,” Mr. Rahmini said. “They do not exist. This is the proof of their involvement in drugs trade.”
What made his remarks even more striking is that Iran’s fight against illegal drugs is one of the few issues on which the Islamic republic can count on Western sympathy. Iran’s battle to stop the flow of drugs coming in from neighboring Afghanistan has often been mentioned as a potential field of cooperation during negotiations over the country’s nuclear program.
...
Mr. Rahimi, who spoke after Mr. De Leo, told stories of gynecologists’ killing black babies on the orders of the Zionists and claimed that the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917 was started by Jews, adding that mysteriously no Jews died in that uprising.
He also said the Talmud teaches Jews to think they are a superior race. “They think God has created the world so that all other nations can serve them,” he said. Halfway through his speech, Mr. Rahimi said there was a difference between Jews who “honestly follow the prophet Moses” and the Zionists who are “the main elements of the international drugs trade.”
Read the whole thing.
The reports have described diplomats who heard the tirade as being 'shocked,' but the conference continued.
This sounds like the Middle Ages. In the Middle Ages, thousands of Europeans died in the Black (Bubonic) plague. Almost no Jews died, which brought on accusations like Rahimi's. Today we know that the reason almost no Jews died was that the Jews were constantly washing their hands.
It will be interesting to see how many anti-Semitic comments this post draws, particularly from Muslims.

Hamas accuses Israel of encouraging drug trade in Gaza

Where have we heard
this before?
Hamas is once again accusing Israel of flooding Gaza with drugs - this time
Ecstasy (Hat Tip:
Challah Hu Akhbar).
Hamas officials in the Gaza Strip on Monday accused Israel of encouraging the drugs trade in the coastal enclave.
Director of the anti-drugs police in northern Gaza Ashraf al-Bayari said Israel deliberately sends large quantities of drugs to the Gaza Strip "in order to blackmail youths and trick them into becoming collaborators with Israeli intelligence."
Police arrested a drug dealer on Sunday evening in Jabalia, northern Gaza, who was in possession of 1,000 ecstasy pills.
The pills were smuggled into Gaza from Israel via the Erez crossing, police said.

Hezbullah in deep financial trouble

It couldn't happen to a nicer terror organization.
Der Spiegel reports that
Hezbullah is going broke.
In recent months, Hezbollah has become involved in disastrous investments, losing almost €1 billion ($1.4 billion). The Iranians, who are now feeling the brunt of the UN sanctions imposed as a result of their nuclear activities, have made it clear that they cannot provide Hezbollah with additional funding at this time. This is embarrassing for Hezbollah, whose image in Lebanon depends in large part on its generous social services. It is now falling behind in the rebuilding of homes it had promised to Hezbollah's Shiite followers after the destructive 2006 bomb attacks. Israel began massive bombing strikes in Lebanon that year after Hezbollah abducted two Israeli soldiers in a cross-border raid.
Western intelligence agencies believe that they have identified a new Hezbollah income source: the drug trade. Iranian weapons shipments to the Lebanese were reportedly "enriched" with large quantities of heroin and cocaine. The drugs were then allegedly shipped to their final destination, Western Europe, through the Turkish Cypriot port of Famagusta. The Iranian representative of the Revolutionary Guard in Beirut, Hassan Mahdavi, allegedly mentioned, in a telephone conversation, a "drug tsunami" that could flush millions into Hezbollah's coffers.
Nasrallah is unlikely to approve of such activities. He has always fought the "drug scourge," even cooperating on the issue with the hated Hariri government in 2010. He is now trying to perform a balancing act that cannot possibly go well -- between being a statesman and a supporter of terrorists, and between opposing civil war and possibly profiting from one. He wants to be part of the democratic process, and yet he insists that he is above the law.
Of course, Hezbullah has no problem
selling drugs to the evil Joooos. What could go wrong?

US sanctions Lebanese bank for laundering money for Hezbullah

The United States has
sanctioned Lebanese Canadian bank SAL for laundering money for drug traffickers and supporting Hezbullah (Hat Tip: Ya Libnan).
The U.S. Treasury Department on Thursday designated Lebanese Canadian Bank SAL as a "primary money laundering concern" under Patriot Act provisions aimed at curbing terrorism finance.
Treasury and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration officials alleged that hundreds of millions of dollars in drug proceeds were laundered through accounts at the lender.
In a statement, the bank denied "knowledge of any involvement in any manner whatsoever in illicit transactions or wrongdoing." The bank said it was "committed to fully cooperate and coordinate with the relevant regulatory authorities in an effort to demonstrate the integrity and transparency of its operations."
Last month, Treasury officials made an initial move against the laundering network by designating its alleged leader, Ayman Joumaa, as a drug kingpin and seeking to seize assets belonging to him and associates. The DEA says the Joumaa network moves as much as $200 million per month through various conduits, including bulk-cash smuggling, deposits in Lebanese exchange houses and shipments of consumer goods.
Stuart Levey, undersecretary for terrorism and financial intelligence, said the action was intended to "protect the U.S. financial system from illicit proceeds flowing through LCB" and to deprive the Joumaa network from access to the legitimate financial system. Investigators leading the probe believe Lebanese Canadian Bank managers "are complicit in the network's money-laundering activities," Mr. Levey said.
U.S. officials said they advised Canadian officials of their actions but that the alleged offenses didn't occur in Canada. The Lebanese Embassy in Washington didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
In a related move Thursday, Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, known as FinCen, proposed measures that, if approved, would largely prohibit U.S. financial institutions from doing business with the Lebanese bank.
Probably just the tip of the iceberg....
