Hamas accuses Israel of encouraging drug trade in Gaza

Where have we heard this before?

Hamas is once again accusing Israel of flooding Gaza with drugs - this time Ecstasy (Hat Tip: Challah Hu Akhbar).
Hamas officials in the Gaza Strip on Monday accused Israel of encouraging the drugs trade in the coastal enclave.

Director of the anti-drugs police in northern Gaza Ashraf al-Bayari said Israel deliberately sends large quantities of drugs to the Gaza Strip "in order to blackmail youths and trick them into becoming collaborators with Israeli intelligence."

Police arrested a drug dealer on Sunday evening in Jabalia, northern Gaza, who was in possession of 1,000 ecstasy pills.

The pills were smuggled into Gaza from Israel via the Erez crossing, police said.
