Gaza kids were encouraged to play in the streets during Operation Protective Edge bombing runs
I am sure that most, if not all of my readers who have children would do just about anything to protect them. But in Gaza, things are different. Elder of Ziyon posted this video showing how Gaza children were encouraged to play outside during Israeli air raids in the summer of 2014.
Let's go to the videotape.
You don't think Hamas (which 'loves death more than life') would actually want to cause child casualties, do you? You bet they would. Read the whole thing.
And you thought it was only Hamas that had the military style Kindergarten graduations.
Here's a tweet from Israel Radio's Gal Berger with pictures from a Kindergarten graduation in Ein Arik, a village just outside Ramallah - 'Palestinian Authority' territory:
The image at the top of this post was one of the tamer ones I found when searching "dead Palestinian child" for an image. As you might recall, the picture was from Operation Pillar of Defense and the child was the son of a BBC journalist who lived in Gaza. Three months later, the United Nations 'human rights council' (of all entities) determined that the child had been killed by Hamas.
Perhaps that's one of many reasons why James Delingpole speaks for many of us when he says he has had with the 'Palestinians' grotesque use of images of children to arouse sympathy.
The point they are trying to make goes like this: here is a dead
child; killing children is evil; Israel killed this child; therefore
Israel is evil.
Are you buying this argument? I'm not. I don't even think it
qualifies as an argument. In fact, I think it has about as much insight
and depth as one of those posters with kittens on it saying: "Today is
the first day of the rest of your life."
What I loathe about it is its mixture of hectoring presumption and manipulative dishonesty.
Presumption: "If you support Israel, then you clearly don't care
about dead children," it says. (Is there anyone in the world who isn't
moved by the sight of a dead child? I don't think so. The people who are
implying otherwise are beneath contempt).
Dishonesty: other than the truism that war is hell, the photograph actually tells us nothing.
We have no idea whether this boy was actually a victim of the
fighting in Gaza - or of the far bloodier and uglier civil wars in Syria
and Iraq.
If he was indeed a Palestinian, we have no idea whether he was killed by Israeli fire or by Hamas ordinance.
Nor, even if he was killed by Israeli fire, do we know the
circumstances. Maybe it was a tragic mistake; maybe, he was one of those
innocents that Hamas likes to use as human shields in its rocket
launching sites; maybe he was being used as a "tunnel rat"; maybe he'd
tried to flee with his family to a shelter only to be driven back to his
apartment by Hamas who recognise the propaganda value of dead children.
OMG: What Hamas is teaching its children outside the classroom
You've all seen clips of Hamas brainwashing its children in the classroom. This clip is unusual because it takes place outside the classroom. In fact, it takes place on one of those pristine Gaza beaches. This boy couldn't be more than 5 or 6.
Let's go to the videotape (Hat Tip: Jack W).
Innocent civilians? More like abused children whose innocence was stolen by Hamas.
This photo of the week best illustrates the “Palestinian” culture. It
is antithetical to the Jewish culture (which is why it was hidden
there, I am sure).
“IDF Forces Discover Firearm Hidden inside of Child’s Backpack,” IDF, January 23, 2014
Last night, IDF forces found an
improvised firearm during a search in the Jordan Valley. The Palestinian
suspect had concealed the weapon in a child’s bookbag, which the forces
discovered inside of his vehicle.
Late Tuesday evening, a battalion from the IDF’s Kfir Brigade discovered
an improvised firearm and ammunition inside of a Palestinian vehicle
during a routine inspection in the Jordan Valley. The weapon was found
inside of a child’s bookbag at a checkpoint not far from the driver’s
home. “The driver aroused suspicion after a preliminary search,” said
Captain Sefi Mor, an IDF company commander involved in the inspection.
“He seemed anxious, so we decided to perform a comprehensive search of
the vehicle.”
Shocking video: Australian talks about meeting 'Palestinian' suicide bombers
Here's a video in which Darly Jones, an Australian non-Jew who came here to meet with the 'Palestinians' talks about meeting 'Palestinian' suicide bombers and what happened to them. In this video, you will also hear 'Palestinian' children saying that they don't want peace - they want the State of Israel to disappear (see 3:40).
Viral video: 11-year old Yemeni girl runs away from home to avoid forced marriage
11-year old Nada al-Ahdal has run away from home because her parents are trying to force her into a marriage.
Here's an interview with her. Let's go to the videotape. More after the video.
That video has more than 5,000,000 hits in two days, which is pretty amazing. But what it doesn't say is to whom her parents want to marry her off and why. Is it money or something else?
The answers to those questions are not entirely clear, but this post implies that it probably had to do with money, and that the suitor was at least an adult.
A video,
posted on YouTube, shows an 11-year-old Yemeni girl called Nada
al-Ahdal recounting how she escaped her parents who wanted to force her
to marry. Nada comes from a modest family and is one of eight siblings.
Fortunately for her, her uncle Abdel Salam al-Ahdal, a montage and
graphics technician in a TV station, decided to take her in when she was
three years old, to live with him and his aging mother, away from her
parents.
Nada was not an only child at home. Her uncle had also taken his
other nephew under his wing, as the boy’s own father couldn’t afford his
son’s medical requirements. Abdel Salam was thus responsible for
bringing up two children. He personally took care of keeping them, and
his frail mother, clean and well-fed.
Nada grew up in this caring environment, went to school, and learned
English during the summer vacation. She has her own Facebook page, was a
gifted singer, and took part in musicals. However, her happiness was
cut short when someone came to ask her parents for her hand in marriage.
The man, a Yemeni expatriate living in Saudi Arabia, did not care about
the girl’s age. Her parents were happy because the prospective groom
worked abroad and was rich.
Abdel Salam tells NOW: “When I heard about the groom, I panicked.
Nada was not even 11 years old; she was exactly 10 years and 3 months. I
could not allow her to be married off and have her future destroyed,
especially since her aunt was forced to marry at 13 and burnt herself. I
did all I could to prevent that marriage. I called the groom and told
him Nada was no good for him. I told him she did not wear the veil and
he asked if things were going to remain like that. I said ‘yes, and I
agree because she chose it.’ I also told him that she liked singing and
asked if he would remain engaged to her.”
The groom recanted the engagement and told the girl’s parents he did
not want their daughter anymore. Nada’s parents, looking forward to a
hefty bride price, were disappointed.
Nada had an 18 year-old sister who had been engaged many times. Her
parents accepted each new proposal and took a partial downpayment for a
bride price. They would then postpone the marriage until the groom had
enough money, eventually ending each engagement, not returning the
money. The same story would start all over again with another suitor,
and so it was that she had had nine fiancés.
After Abdel Salam succeeded in warding off Nada’s first
husband-to-be, her parents came from Zubaid on a visit to Sana’a and
asked for their daughter to stay with them until mid-Ramadan. Abdel
Salam agreed only to learn from the parents days later that Nada had
disappeared.
At one point Nada escaped and tried to return to her uncle. When she
got back to Sana'a, she was scared he would take her back to her mother.
He found out afterwards that Nada’s mother wanted to marry her off
again but did not tell him as she feared he would “scare away” the
suitor as he had done the first time around.
Where
are all the sanctimonious "activist" frauds who constantly whine of
Israel arresting kids? Israel arrests kids (in accordance with child
protection laws like in all western democracies) only when they threaten
lives and because they are indoctrinated to violence and used as
propaganda props for the gullible West's cameras. The real problem is
Palestinian groups' child exploitation and compassion abuse... and it
needs to stop.
'I will put it on you and you will go to your death'
The image above was taken from Fatah of Lebanon's Facebook page by Palestinian Media Watch (and blown up a bit by me). It has apparently been there for quite some time.
"My mother dressed me in a strange belt (i.e., a suicide belt).
I asked her: 'What is this, mother?'
She said: 'I will put it on you and you will go to your death!'
I said to her: 'Mother, what have I done that you want me to die?'
She shed a tear that hurt my heart and said: 'The homeland needs you, son. Go and blow up the sons of Zion.'
I said to her: 'Why me and not you?'
She said: 'I will stay in order to give birth to more children for the sake of Palestine.'
I kissed her hand and said to her: 'Keep it up, mother, for you and for Palestine I will kill the impure and the damned.'"

Keep in mind that Fatah is the party (as opposed to Hamas) with whom we are supposed to make 'peace.'
A close aide of 'moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud AbbasAbu Mazen has apparently carried the 'follow the prophet' meme a little too far. According to InLightPress (link in Arabic), the unnamed aide stands accused of raping an unnamed minor. Challah Hu Akbar explains:
The official is a senior official who is reportedly “very close” to Mahmoud Abbas. According to the report, Palestinian officials have been trying for months to solve the issue with the family of the assaulted girl. The family has rejected all monetary offers.
InLightPress did not publish the names of the victim or the suspect.
The report says that in the upcoming reshuffling of Salam Fayyad’s government, the official under suspicion will likely be pushed out.
Disgusting: Egyptian teacher hits Kindergarten students with stick
I cannot imagine why parents would put up with something like this. In this video, you will see an Egyptian teacher hitting Kindergarten students. Note that he hits the girls harder than he hits the boys and that the girls who cry get hit more.
This must do wonders for these kids' personalities.
This video does not show 'Palestinians' although it could. This video actually comes from Pakistan. This is how Islamic kids pass their time when they're done in the madrassa every day.
I am an Orthodox Jew - some would even call me 'ultra-Orthodox.' Born in Boston, I was a corporate and securities attorney in New York City for seven years before making aliya to Israel in 1991 (I don't look it but I really am that old :-). I have been happily married to the same woman for thirty-five years, and we have eight children (bli ayin hara) ranging in age from 13 to 33 years and nine grandchildren. Four of our children are married! Before I started blogging I was a heavy contributor on a number of email lists and ran an email list called the Matzav from 2000-2004.
