Welcome to Michiganistan, where a burnt Koran is worth more than a beaten Jew

Unbelievable.
Zachary Tennen said two college-aged males asked if he was Jewish and when he answered yes, the two men assaulted him. Zachary told police the two men then “stapled me in the back side of my bottom teeth, starting in my gums and going upwards.”
Tennen, a journalism sophomore who loves basketball, is recovering from his injuries, but he had this to say.

“I’m really, really upset in a few ways,” Zachary Tennen said. “First of all it is a terrible experience, physically and also mentally to know someone would do something like this,” he said before his surgery, despite the difficulties for him to talk.

...

East Lansing Police appear to be skeptical and are denying that this was a hate crime. They were not nearly as reticent when it came to a burnt Koran left outside the Islamic Center of East Lansing.
The East Lansing Police Department is seeking the publics help to find who is responsible for burning and desecrating a Koran. The incident happened on September 11. It was found at the front door of the Islamic Center of East Lansing. The department is offering $10,000 for any information that would lead to the identification and prosecution of those responsible for this act.
It would appear that a burnt Koran merits a $10,000 reward, but a beaten Jewish college student can be safely ignored by the East Lansing Police.
Michigan is sounding more and more like a country in Europe.

In your haste to blame Muslim for all and sundry crimes, you omitted to check the facts, which are:-

1. The attack wasn't by a Muslim, it was by a KKK or so the victim initially claimed. Instead of Michigistan, you should have written MichigiKKK

2. The reason it's not a hate crime is because he wasn't attacked for being Jewish like he first said. He was attacked, and he initially said he had his jaw stapled by his attacker, soemthing which the hospital denied.

3. It was probably someone he knew, because some witnesses have come forward and a man has been arrested.

4. It was probably a drunken brawl.

Are you man enough to change the title of your libellous post?

Of course not. Kapo.

American Muslims aren't anti- Jewish, and they don't attack Jews for being Jews, in fact they're the biggest consumers of Kosher food.

These KKK attackers come from the Republican right, the party that you support. Oh and I wonder what your 'judeo christian' pretender, CaptH has to say about the below?

Muslims and Jews in America: The Most American of All?
http://insideislam.wisc.edu/index.php/archives/9847

Muslims and Jews still aren’t considered true “Americans” by mainstream society, despite the fact they are the two most successful religious groups in the country in terms of education and wealth. According to Gallup, the two most highly educated religious groups are Jews and Muslims, among whom 61% and 40% respectively have a college degree, compared with 29% of Americans overall. These facts carry across gender lines as well, with Muslim females being the second-most educated religious group in the country, after Jewish females. Both groups also have household incomes above the American average.

Both Muslims and Jews in the US come from diverse geographic and cultural backgrounds. Another Gallup study concluded American Muslims to be the most diverse group, and a Pew Research Center project found that 63% of American Muslims are first-generation immigrants. While the majority of American Jews live in the New York metropolitan area, nationwide they represent a broad cross-section of identities: Ashkenazi and Sephardic (geo-cultural identifications), Orthodox and Reformist (religious distinctions), and a noticeable minority of Jews who identify with little of the cultural and religious background of their ancestors. And not all American Jews live in the Northeastern corridor. For example, there is a sizable group of Persian Jews who live in Southern California.

Diversity, higher education, and financial success are a few of the most valued aspects of being American, but for some, being Muslim or Jewish excludes one from becoming “genuinely American.” It’s a shame that the purveyors of misinformation and rhetoric largely generated by the Arab-Israeli conflict have divided these two natural allies, preventing them from more forcefully combating hate and division together.

Where in the article does it say he's accusing Muslims of attacking him?

I hope all Jews carry a Quran around with them to block punches and knives and such. That way when the book is struck or damaged someone somewhere will actually believe a crime has been committed. And the mobs can boil out into the street.

The official accounts don't mention the attack was by a Muslim.

But the blog post by Carl the Kapo has the tags, 'Muslim anti semitism' implying the attack was by a Muslim person, and he calls Michigan 'Michiganistan' implying that it's either a Muslim city, controlled by Muslims, or the police are in the pay of Muslims who staple Jewish jaws then pay the police to say
'It's not a hate crime'.
