How a lie gets accepted as the truth

At the conclusion of his meeting with Jordan's King Abdullah on Monday, 'moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen 'explained' why his demand for a 'settlement freeze' is not a precondition to 'negotiations.'
Abbas said following his meeting with the Jordan’s King Abdullah II in Ramallah that the Palestinians are ready to resume negotiations if Israel halts settlement activities and abide by the international resolution, saying that these aren’t pre-set conditions but obligations based on agreements between Palestinians and Israelis.
And what agreements might those be? There is nothing in the Oslo Accords - the only agreements with the 'Palestinians' that were approved by the Knesset - that prohibits Israel from building in areas under its control (Area C), nor is there anything in the Oslo Accords that mandates the 1949 armistice lines as a starting point for negotiations.

But of course, since Abu Mazen makes this kind of statement to WAFA, which will never challenge him, and the rest of the media just publishes what WAFA says verbatim, the average newspaper reader or radio listener or television watcher believes that Israel is violating international agreements and that the 'Palestinians' are not the ones trying to impose preconditions on the negotiations.

The 'Palestinians' lie big and stick to it.
