Europeans offer Abu Bluff a free pass

At Monday's meeting in Ramallah, Jordan's King Abdullah passed on a new European proposal to resume 'negotiations' to 'moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen. The plan - if in fact the Europeans have agreed to it - is a complete sellout, and Abu Mazen would be a fool not to take it. But he probably won't take it anyway. After all, it would offend his honor....
Jordan's King Abdullah has presented Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas with a document that includes a European initiative for resuming negotiations with Israel, the al-Quds al-Arabi newspaper reported.

The initiative calls on the Palestinians to return to the negotiating table even without a settlement freeze in exchange for an EU promise to support the Palestinian UN bid, if negotiations fail within the next year.
That "if" should read "when." Abu Bluff gets to sit at the table and concede nothing, while the US pushes Israel to bargain with itself. And at the end of the year, we can all hope and pray that the US will use its veto in the Security Council, because the Euroweenies will all vote for a 'Palestinian state.'

What could go wrong?
