Please don't trick or treat for UNICEF

Every year around this time, I warn those of you whose children go out to 'trick or treat' on Halloween not to support UNICEF. Here are some reasons why you should not support UNICEF:

In March 2010, UNICEF published an ad that called for boycotting Israel.

In September 2009, it was disclosed that UNICEF was routing donations through Iran's Bank Melli, which is under international sanction for assisting in Iran's nuclear proliferation program.

In June 2008, UNICEF refused to take money from Israeli businessman Lev Leviev, but just a day later it was disclosed that UNICEF was accepting donations from the Islamic International Relief Organization, a 'charity' with connections to al-Qaeda and the Taliban.

UNICEF supports summer camps run by Hamas at which 'Palestinian' children are given military training. Yes, those same camps that are named after suicide terrorists are sponsored by UNICEF.

Yid with Lid has more on UNICEF's recent activities here.

When the kids come to the door, please give them a Kit Kat instead.

  1. Even in the way back years we understood that UNICEF specifically excluded from ever giving a dime to Israel. I'm talking in the 1960's.
