Kamp Krispy Khalid in Khamastan

It's summer time and I'm sure many of you have sent your kids off to camp by now. Just to get you into the proper camp spirit, here's a little video....

In Khamastan, they also send their kids off to kamp. I have dubbed their kamp, Kamp Krispy Khalid in honor of Krispy Khalid the charbroiled doctor.

Khamas' kamp is just like your kids' camp. It's for boys (not sure if there are girls) between the ages of 8-17. They teach archery and shooting and grenade throwing and automatic rifle shooting and weapons handling and Kalashnikov shooting and crawling on your belly and assault rifle shooting.... You mean that it's not like your kids' kamp? Your kids' kamp doesn't teach the kids how to handle weapons and grenades? Hmmm.

Anyway, it seems that some Fatah-affiliated parents are disappointed with Kamp Krispy Khalid in Khamastan. No, not because their kids are being taught to handle weapons and grenades. Fatah itself has run camps that teach weapons handling. And the fact that the team that produces the most suicide bombers wins color war doesn't disturb them either. But what does disturb them is that the kids are being taught to fight for Hamas against Fatah.
The Fatah-affiliated Palestine Press Agency reported that the Hamas camps had been established in closed areas in various parts of the Gaza Strip so that the families would not see what's happening inside them.

The agency quoted eyewitnesses as saying that children were being taught how to fire automatic rifles and handle hand grenades.

"The military training is taking place in the early hours; children are being taught how to use Kalashnikov assault rifles and other weapons," said one eyewitness.

"The Hamas supervisors are also giving lectures to the children accusing Fatah of collaboration with Israel and betraying the Palestinians. They are also quoting phrases from the Quran that encourage the children to kill the 'traitors.'"

The children are recruited through advertisements in mosques that only promise to teach children about Islam.
Well that sure sounds like Islam to me.

But as you might imagine, Fatah is not very happy about this:
A statement issued by Fatah accused Hamas of "kidnapping" and "brainwashing" the children.

"Hamas is helping create a culture of hatred and vengeance," the statement charged. "They are killing the innocence of children by forcing them to undergo military training and teaching them hatred. They want to use these children to fight their own people in the future.
Just like Fatah once did. Sounds just like your kids' summer camps, doesn't it? But I'll bet no one trick or treats for UNICEF for your kids' summer camp on Halloween. I'll bet none of your kids' camps is named for a suicide terrorist. I'll bet there's no UNRWA to finance your kids' summer camps. And I'll bet that your summer camps might teach your kids to use bows and arrows and maybe even some target practice with a hunting rifle, but that they don't use automatic weapons or grenades.

The Fatah parents would be very happy with their kids' summer camps too - if only they would limit their lessons to murdering Jews and other infidels. The poor 'Palestinians' - their kids blow up so quickly.

Oh, well, who needs to eat lunch?

Excellent way of getting the point across, though.

I always think of the words of Golda Meir zt"l: 'Peace will come when the arabs love their children more than they hate us.'

This looks more and more unlikely.
