And it continues...

Israel Television reports that six civilians and one soldier were killed in Thursday afternoon's terror attacks. Another Israeli was killed Thursday evening by gunfire from within Egypt. Five of the six civilians were killed when their car was hit by an anti-tank missile that was intended to hit a civilians bus.

The IAF has raided Gaza and killed six 'Palestinians' including the entire leadership of the 'Popular Resistance Committees,' which is alleged to be behind Thursday's terror attacks, and which was also behind the kidnapping of IDF Corporal Gilad Shalit. The PRC now says it is not bound by any 'quiet period.'

Hamas condemned the attack but said and did nothing more. Hamas does not want to be accused by either Israel or Egypt, and so it is stuck.

UPDATE 9:17 PM

Egypt says that it also killed two terrorists.

Two Grad rockets have also been shot at Ashkelon this evening.

It was remarkable to have nearly two years of relative quiet in Israel's south. That period has now been brought to an end and Israel faces more danger in the future.

What could go wrong indeed
