Report: Kidnapped Estonians were held in Syria

Israel Radio reports that seven Estonian bicyclists, who were kidnapped in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley as they crossed the border from Syria nearly four months ago, and who were set free on Thursday in Lebanon, had been held in Syria. The report is based on a report by the Lebanese television station al-Mustaqbal.

Moreover, the negotiations for their release did not make any progress until Estonia denounced the European sanctions imposed on the Assad regime.

Of course, there will be no consequences to Syria for this. Russia and China will continue to protect Syria in the Security Council, and the United States will continue to pretend that Assad has an interest in 'reforming.'

Who will be the next victims? What could go wrong?
