Just sink the ships

IDF sources have outlined some extremely troubling scenarios that could develop on the upcoming flotilla of fools.
IDF sources claimed Monday night that new intelligence information obtained by Israel in recent days shows that participants of the flotilla planning to break Israel’s sea blockade over the Gaza Strip later this week plan to kill IDF soldiers who board their ships.

According to the information obtained by the IDF, some of the participants have prepared a number of sacks with sulfur, which they plan to pour on the soldiers as they board the vessels.

“This is a chemical weapon and if poured on a soldier it can paralyze him,” an IDF source told The Jerusalem Post Monday night. “If the sulfur is then lit on fire, the soldier will light up like a torch.”

The information was obtained from closed meetings held by participants on the ships during which some voiced their intention to “murder Israeli soldiers,” according to the IDF. Also, despite earlier predictions that members of the Turkish organization IHH would not participate in the flotilla, it now appears that some members will sail with the ships alongside additional radical Islamic activists.

The IDF sources also claimed that the military had also succeeded in linking activists involved in the flotilla to Hamas and that charities run by the Palestinian terrorist organization were providing financial and logistical support for the flotilla.
There is no reason to endanger IDF soldiers to spare these morons' lives. There is also no reason to board the ships. Just sink them.

something weird about this report

i dont think sulfur is toxic, unless used in large quantities, and trying to pour a bag of sulfur on someone wont work

why is the idf going out of its way to excuse what they must do?

sink the ships...they are filled with the flotsam and jetsam of the world

the world will applaud when filth like mary hughes thompson and the leaders of code pink, rest at the bottom of the Mediterranean

i will happily push the button that launches the torpedoes

Israel's government is not going to follow common sense. Its more afraid of so-called world opinion than it seriously protecting its soldiers lives and the lives of its citizens.

If it does, I will be surprised. What could go wrong indeed

The ships must be searched before they even leave their harbours if they have this info! And observed from the air to make sure there is no trickery. I believe this totally and they probably have other armaments.
Also, I imagine none of them will be witnesses against the other nazis aboard the ships!

The Israelis should mine the sea around Gaza and sit back and watch the fireworks. These scum need a really good lesson!

LOL, I said the same thing in a comment here a month or so ago. Israel should let it be known publicly, that they will sink these ships if they try and break the blockade.

Israel won't do anything effective until it stops trying to win the approval of other nations. Those nations will never approve of anything Israel does (unless she were to commit national suicide or its equivalent), so it's a losing proposition.

I agree that Israel ought to sink one or more ships, but I doubt that she'll do it.

I don't know if it's possible, but disabling the ships at sea, and letting them drift, is best way to go. Then IDF doesn't have to board.

I wonder if they are planning to try to make sulfur mustard, because just plain sulfur isn't a great hazard.

Damn straight!

Felix, a ship just needs to fire their deck gun at the propellers until they're knocked out.

Just ask the Russians!

think they are trying to make mustard gas?

if so...they are nuts

its unstable and they will end up killing themselves

plus...if mustard gas is found on any of the boats...they will be in big trouble...both in israel and with the international community

The task of sinking the flotillahs should not be put in the hands of the IDF or Israel. It’s better that some Israeli “flow-til-allah” ad-hoc unknown organization will do the job, while the soldiers can stay and enjoy at their homes.

Maybe the Direction Générale de la Sécurité Extérieure thought it was a Greenpeace boat.
