Six Gaza flotilla boats detained in Greece
Six of the flotilla boats that are scheduled to sale to Gaza are being detained in the port in Athens due to complaints about their seaworthiness. One of the boats being detained is the American Audacity of Hope. Ynet has learned that six ships that were meant to take part in the Gaza-bound flotilla are being detained by the port authority and the coast guard in Greece. Senior officials in Jerusalem have confirmed the report.Hope the boat don't sink. Heh.
While the organizers of the maritime convoy claim that more than 1,500 activists are set to take part in the initiative, it now appears that not more than seven ships, carrying 200-500 passengers, will participate in the flotilla.
