Netanyahu - Abbas meeting 'postponed'

A three-way summit that was scheduled to take place in Paris on Thursday has been 'postponed.' The summit, which was to have been hosted by French President Nicolas Sarkozy, and to have been attended by Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and 'moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen, was canceled because Abu Mazen refused to show up.
"Following consultations, the parties concerned have agreed to decide on another date," a statement from Netanyahu's office said.

On Friday the French presidency had raised the possibility of the meeting previously announced by President Nicolas Sarkozy not going ahead next Thursday as planned, following the suspension of direct peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians.

...

Abbas has refused to hold further negotiations while settlement construction in the West Bank continues, and last week Arab League foreign ministers gave US negotiators a month to try to resolve the impasse.
I cannot believe how the world is pandering to Abu Mazen as he behaves like a spoiled brat. My 6-year old acts more mature than he does.

Why does just about every article written, which includes any reference to abu mazen always have the word moderate thrown in? Is it because a lie told often enough becomes the truth in the peoples minds?

The Palestinians have never had to acknowledge that they don't have the upper hand - that they are the inheritors of successive LOSSES in wars of aggression against Israel. The world has never held them accountable for that, and it's looking more and more like they never will. Instead Israel is punished for daring to defend itself, and for doing so successfully.

Netanyahu should tell him good-bye and when you Palestinians have a leader who really represents you, then we can do business.

Abu Bluff has shown repeatedly he is not a man whom Israel can or should do business with together.

Its time to bring this farce called the peace process to an end!
