We interrupt this battle to hijack it
A lot of silly, naive people probably thought that when President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton appointed a special envoy to monitor and combat anti-Semitism, that envoy would seek to monitor and combat anti-Semitism. But in an Orwellian twist, that envoy has produced yet another diatribe about Islamophobia.The battle against anti-Semitism has been hijacked. One can only wonder why Abe Foxman and the Anti-Defamation League aren't kicking and screaming about it. Perhaps because they decided from the outset that the special envoy would be useless anyway.
