Some blockade: Gaza economy grows by 16% in first half of 2010

Debbie Schlussel reports that Gaza's economy grew at a rate of 16% during the first half of 2010 despite the supposed 'blockade' of the Gaza Strip, which was not loosened until late June. The 'West Bank's economy grew a strong 9% during that same period.

It must have been the shopping mall, the horse club, the water club, the luxury hotels and the restaurant.

But that will never stop the anti-Israel crowd from obsessing on the alleged brutality of the Israeli "occupation."

Its been some occupation! Not that any one cares to notice that in fact, the Palestinians have been doing far better than the rest of the world.
