Amnesty Finland director apologizes for calling Israel a 'scum state'

You will recall that two weeks ago, Amnesty International's Finnish representative, Frank Johansson, called Israel a 'scum state.'

Now, Johannson has issued a letter of apology to the Israeli embassy in Helsinki. You can read that letter here.

Carl, Johansson's apology is typical of the weasel that he is. It's not until the 3rd paragraph that he actually apologizes to the ambassador. His initial "apology" is all-too-typically for being "offensive", and it was addressed to "those who had been offended". He repeats this crap in the 4th paragraph.

Thus, I call bullshit on his sincerity. He's apologetic only because the heat is a bit too much for him. He wasn't expecting to be the target of criticism.

He's still little more than a Jew-hating Euro-weenie.

He revealed a deep bias that makes him unsuitable for his job.

Apologizing for revealing the bias is quite useless without a change of heart. This can only come about from gaining a new understanding and he needs to detail that.
