Our final offer?

A senior Hamas official said on Sunday that 'negotiations' to swap kidnapped IDF Corporal Gilad Shalit for 1,000 'Palestinian' terrorists were at a 'standstill' after Israeli officials told terrorist representatives in its prisons that it has made its final offer for Shalit - and then let the terrorists call home to tell them about it.
According to the Hamas source, the Israeli officials stated that they were unwilling to make any further concessions in negotations intended to Schalit in exchange for 1,000 Palestinian prisoners currently being held in Israeli jails.
If it's true, it's about time.

It appears that Gilad Shalit isn't going to come home any time soon.

The deal Israel proposed is not good enough for Hamas because the deal wouldn't be made on Hamas' terms.

I guess that would be that then.
