IDF fires on Lebanese fishing boat

The IDF acknowledged on Sunday that it fired warning shots on Saturday night at a Lebanese fishing boat that was in a restricted area on Israel's border with Lebanon.
The IDF fired at a Lebanese fishing boat that was sailing in a restricted zone Saturday night, after a warning to return to Lebanese waters was ignored.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The Lebanese army issued a statement in response to the incident, stating that Israel "continues" to violate UN Resolution 1701, and that the IDF fired shots into Lebanese territorial waters.

The IDF confirmed that it fired "warning shots" when the boat did not heed a request to leave the restricted area.
Arutz Sheva adds:
In response, the Lebanese Army issued a statement claiming that Israel “dared to open fire at 4:00 a.m. as part of continued violations” of the United Nations ceasefire Resolution 1701 that ended the 2006 Second Lebanon War.

The incident with the fishing vessel came less than 12 hours after an alleged flyover by two Israel Air Force aircraft, according to a report broadcast Saturday by Press TV.

The Lebanese Army issued a statement complaining that Israeli military planes broke the sound barrier over villages in eastern Lebanon.

According to the statement, an IAF fighter jet and a reconnaissance plane crossed into Lebanese air space Friday at 6:00 p.m. The planes allegedly flew around the eastern town of Baalbek, some 86 km (54 miles) northeast of Beirut, and did not leave until four hours later.
There are still a few weeks of summer left to have a war.

Considering Lebanon murdered a Jew for no reason for whatsoever, it seems to me its forfeited the right to complain about Israel's acts of self-defense in the face of growing hostility from its neighbor.

If they don't like it, well the next time they may find themselves worse off than a Hezbollah boat getting off with warning shots on sailing unchallenged into Israel's territorial waters.
