Lebanese army general arrested for spying for Israel

A Lebanese army general has been arrested and charged with spying for Israel.
The Lebanese intelligence directorate arrested a high ranking army general a few days ago on suspicion of spying for Israel, Al Akhbar newspaper reported Tuesday.

According to the report, the army decided not to make the announcement until after the 65th anniversary of the founding of the army, which took place last Sunday.

The name of the officer was not released.

The arrest comes a day after a senior at the Lebanese communications company "Ogro" was arrested on charges of spying for Israel, according to a Lebanese newspaper As-Safir.

Lebanese security officials reported that the 66-year-old is responsible for international communications at the company.

According to the newspaper reports the suspect was arrested after he carried out a number of telephone conversations with Israeli authorities.
We must have a heck of a spy network up there. Heh.

Yeah, and Mossad are such amateurs that they forgot to tell the guy that phone calls are not a good way to communicate!!!! But of course, the crack team of Lebanese counter-intelligence "experts" caught the guy...and now I bet they also have the phone numbers for all important Mossad people straight from the guy's cell phone.
Don't you hate it when this happens?!!!

That may be why Lebanon instigated the shooting match with Israel.

To distract public attention from the fact a lot of Lebanese actually like Israel enough to help it.

Heh
