Israel Radio interviews UNIFIL spokesman in Lebanon

UNIFIL spokesman says UNIFIL trying to ascertain circumstances, but don't yet know who is to blame. Their goal today was to restore calm in the area, and their commander flew by helicopter to incident location and got them to stop shooting. The area is presently quiet.

They have not verified whether Israeli soldiers crossed the border into Lebanon, but don't know at the moment. They expect the investigation will take a few days, but at the moment their focus was to ensure that the situation did not get out of hand and to restore calm. Still urging both parties to exercise maximum restraint.

Yes, the same UN good dhimmi Netanyahu insists with a straight face will conduct an impartial inquiry into May's flotilla incident.
