Why Guantanamo matters but Gilad Shalit doesn't

Daled Amos wonders why 'human rights activists' pay so much attention to the Guantanamo prison in Cuba, but no attention to Gilad Shalit, who has been held in captivity for four years without so much as a Red Cross visit.

Why would human rights activists be completely indifferent to the fate of a single Jew held hostage against his will?
