Video: Larry King interviews Binyamin Netanyahu (in five parts)

Here's Prime Minister Netanyahu's prime time interview on Larry King Live on CNN.

This interview is in five parts. Here's Part 1. Let's go to the videotape.

Isn't it great to see how everything that happened last March has been flushed down the memory hole?

Here's Part 2. Let's go to the videotape.

Here's where he says that he's 'absolutely' in favor of a 'Palestinian state.' No. No 'Palestinian state.' Just autonomy, demilitarized and living with us in peace and security. Not another terror entity. The land of Israel belongs to the Jewish people and has for more than 3,000 years. If they're prepared to live with us in peace, fine. If not, let them get out of here.

Here's Part 3. Let's go to the videotape.

So is Bibi going to insist that Turkey recognize our right to exist before he meets with them? Because there's really not a whole lot of difference these days between Turkey and Hamas' attitude toward Israel.

By the way, King's characterization of the ships being on a 'humanitarian mission to Gaza' is a lie and Bibi should have called him on it.

Here's Part 4. Let's go to the videotape.

Here's Part 5. Let's go to the videotape.

He mentions Gilad Shalit at the end there. I saw somewhere (I don't recall where) that Netanyahu asked Bill Clinton to get involved in trying to win Shalit's release.

I don't really think Netanyahu is in favor of a sovereign Palestinian state. The kind of Palestinian entity almost all Israelis are prepared to support is one that can't maintain an army, can't join foreign alliances and can't invite foreign troops or advisers to be stationed on its soil. The gap between Israel's position and the Palestinian position is a wide one. It won't be bridged in the future.

And no interview on Larry King will change it in any way in the coming months and years.
