Obama's 'man of peace' honors Fadlallah

Within days after President Obama called him to tell him that he considered him a 'man of peace,' 'moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen honored dead Hezbullah leader Grand Ayatollah Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah.
Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and the Fatah movement have honored Grand Ayatollah Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah, who was on the U.S. list of wanted terrorists, and whose final acts included authorizing a fatwa (Islamic religious ruling) sanctioning suicide attacks on U.S. troops and Israel.

Fadlallah's last request before his death was that "the Zionist entity should pass from the world," according to the official PA daily newspaper.

Fadlallah, a spiritual leader of Hezbollah, died last week in Lebanon. Al-Jazeera reported that "the CIA accused Fadlallah of responsibility for the bombing that destroyed the Marines' barracks near the Beirut airport in 1983, in which hundreds of U.S. soldiers were killed."

When Fadlallah was hospitalized, Abbas sent his personal emissary to the hospital to wish him a speedy recovery and good health. After he died, Abbas honored Fadlallah and his family with condolence messages.

It is important to note that this is the second time in less than a week that Abbas has eulogized a terror leader. As Palestinian Media Watch reported, Abbas praised Muhammad Daoud Oudeh (Abu Daoud), the mastermind of the murders of 11 Israeli athletes during the 1972 Olympics, as "a wonderful brother, companion, tough and stubborn, relentless fighter." Abbas also called the family to express his condolences.

The Fatah movement opened a mourning tent in Jenin for both Fadlallah and Abu Daoud.
The living ghost of Jimmy Carter inhabits the White House. And the living ghost of Yasser Arafat runs the 'Palestinian Authority.'

And all the Haaretz editorials still put all the blame on Israel for the absence of peace, ignoring the fact there is no Palestinian peace partner.

Only Israeli leftists, to rephrase George Orwell, could still be stupid enough to believe if only Israel gave up more, peace would be just around the corner.

Yeah, sure.
