Fawning Frances' Fadlallah blog flushed down the memory hole

Fawning Frances' Fadlallah blog post has been flushed down the memory hole. The British government removed a blog post by its ambassador to Lebanon praising recently deceased Grand Ayatollah Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah on Friday, Reuters reported.

Ambassador Frances Guy had expressed her sadness at the death of the early Hizbullah spiritual mentor in a blog post titled "The passing of decent men."
A British Foreign Office spokesman told Reuters that Guy's blog had been removed "after mature consideration."

A spokesman at the British Embassy in Tel Aviv had said earlier that the views in Guy’s blog were hers alone. He said that the Foreign Office had released a statement saying that Fadlallah’s “progressive social views” had sparked vigorous debate in the Shi’ite community, and “we very much welcomed the discussion we had with him concerning the position of Muslims in Europe.”

The spokesman said Britain had had profound disagreements with him, “especially over his statements advocating attacks on Israel," but could agree with him when he opposed the call to jihad by al- Qaida’s leader Osama bin Laden.
That'll solve the problem. In the meantime, Britain still has an ambassador in Lebanon (and in how many other countries?) who thinks her job is to bury her face in the terrorists' rear ends.

What could go wrong?

P.S. To those of you who - like me - are Orthodox Jews, did you think that this picture was something other than what it is until you read the article? Scary, isn't it?

I have some screen grabs of her blog plus ones she subscribes to. She is an anti-Israel activist. Some complaints are going out!

It goes to show some people have no clue about evil - and neither do the governments they represent.

The UK Foreign Office's removal of Frances Guy's Fadlallah blog has evaded the real issue and not addressed it.

There is something sickening about gushing praise for a monster who ordered hundreds of Americans tortured and killed and who helped to destroy his own country in a past war.

That is what is going down the memory hole. No one in Europe has the courage to confront it.

What could go wrong indeed
