Inside the Iranian Revolutionary Guard

I've spoken a couple of times about Reza Khalili, the pseudonym for an Iranian who served as a CIA agent in the Revolutionary Guard before defecting to the United States. On Friday, 'Khalili spoke to the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. He spoke in disguise - both his voice and his appearance were disguised.

You can listen to his talk here. It's awesome.

You can subscribe to the Washington Institute Podcast on iTunes. Think I'll give it a try. However, it seems like a lot of these think tank people are still reading "real" news in the NYT, etc. and, therefore, are misinformed or uninformed, as the sources they consider credible are actually refusing to publish events that don't fit their narrative. Carl and other bloggers are better informed than the "analysts" at these places. It's actually quite distressing because these people are either writing up policy or writing up opposition policy, both without a clear picture of what's going on. IBD Editorials seems to be reading IsraelMatzav, Israellycool, and some of the U.S. blogs, and, thus, are publishing info not allowed into the other traditional sources.
