Overnight music video

Tonight is the last night I will be posting an overnight video for the next three weeks or so. Tomorrow night will be the 17th day of the month of Tammuz, the day on which the siege of Jerusalem was broken by the Romans two thousands years ago. Three weeks from tomorrow night will be the 9th of Av, the night of the Temple's destruction. During the three weeks, we don't listen to music, make weddings, shave or take haircuts. The mourning customs are extended until mid-day on the 10th, because the Temple burned most of the 10th of Av as well.

The next overnight music video will be on Wednesday night the 11th of Av, July 21. And I have a wedding that night (no invitation yet, but I already know).

Here's Yaakov Shwekey singing If I forget thee O Jerusalem, which is sung under every wedding canopy using one tune or another. This one comes with scenes of the 1967 Six-Day War and other scenes of my adopted hometown, Jerusalem.

Let's go to the videotape.

oh , how can a Torah Jew describe Jerusalem as his "adopted" hometown??
Jews don't have any other hometown!
