All dressed up with no place to go

In 2002, a group of 'Palestinian' terrorists took over the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem and held more than 100 people hostage as they fought with the IDF. They also trashed the inside of the church.

As part of a bargain, the terrorists were deported to Gaza and to Europe.

Two of the terrorists, who have been living in Gaza, missed their wives. So they decided to arrange for their wives to move from Judea and Samaria to Jordan. They crossed from Rafah into Egypt earlier this week (the border crossing was opened for three days), used their Jordanian passports and flew to Amman. But....
Abdul Aziz and Abu A’ahour left Gaza on Tuesday using Jordanian passports via the Rafah crossing, and flew to Jordan where they had arranged to live with their wives and children, from whom they have been estranged since their deportation.

As West Bankers supported in part by the Palestinian Authority, who negotiated their release, the men said previously that they felt at risk in their non-native Gaza, particularly following the Hamas takeover and waves of internecine fighting.

The men were denied entry into Jordan and when authorities called Egypt to notify airport officials that they were being deported to their port of origin, Egyptian authorities said they would not receive the men. They remain in custody at Queen Alia International Airport.

The families of both men have appealed Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas to convince either the Egyptians or the Jordanians to host them, so far without success.
Heh.

The Arabs don't want to receive Palestinians. Why then should Israel be asked to take them in? Its an instructive lesson on the gap between Arab sympathy for the Palestinians and the way they treat Palestinian Arabs who seek to enter an Arab country.

If this was Israel, it would be headline news. Since its Egypt and Jordan, no one's interested in what happens to the Palestinians to which entry was refused.

Let them live in the airport for the rest of their natural lives.

I put my money on Syria taking them in, if everyone doesn't manage to kick them back into Gaza.

A journalist friend of mine just returned from the Gaza Egypt border crossing.

For two days she watched the Egyptians beat the palestinains (men, women and children) with batons and rifle butts.

No media were allowed to film the area by the crossing and people there are treated like animals.

Even so, no reports appear in the international media. No one cares.

If the violence was being perpetrated by the Israeli's, however, you can imagine The One would be condemning it in the strongest terms; bored English housweives would convince their diesel mechanic husbands to inform their unions that Israel needs to be boycotted and ... well you know the rest.

When it's arabs vs arabs; or blacks vs blacks, the rest of the world could care less.
