Lebanon accuses Israel of garbling its cell phone service

Lebanon has accused Israel of garbling cell phone service in southern Lebanon beginning three days before Lebanon's June 7 elections.
Lebanese Telecommunications Minister Gibran Bassil claimed on Tuesday that according to a recent investigation, Israel garbled cellular networks in Southern Lebanon, beginning three days before the June 7 parliamentary elections.

Speaking at a press conference, Bassil said that following the probe's findings, he requested that Lebanon's foreign minister report the alleged disturbance to the relevant international bodies.

"There are known sources of interference from the sea and air," he said, mentioning his appeal from some two months ago to take notice of such possible interferences. Bassil added that land lines were also affected to a lesser degree.
Hmmm.

Could this be a prelude to a demand by Hezbullah and its allies to re-do the elections or for a claim by Hezbullah that the elections were rigged?

They will just blame the Jews for anything - including bad cell phone service.

The Zionist Elders can chalk it up as another mission accomplished to keep the goyim in perpetual chaos!

Heh

No. This is not about Hizbullah questioning election results. It's about Israel poking its nose where its nose does not belong -- nothing new here.
