Hamas claims to have shot down UAV; UPDATED with video of purported UAV part
Hamas claims to have shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV - Mazlat in Hebrew) over Rafah today. In 2007, they claimed to have shot one down and provided pictures . Here are two of those pictures. The rest are here.Looks like a kid's model plane to me, but I'm not an expert on this stuff. On the other hand, the logo on the tail (which is why I chose that picture) does look like an IAF logo.
At least no soldiers killed this time.

UPDATE 10:54 PM
Hamas has now released a video of what it claims is a piece of the Israeli UAV. It will be recalled that in the 2007 incident (the one that yielded the pictures above), the UAV crashed due to a technical malfunction.
Let's go to the videotape.

From the comment section:
It's a UAV and I know who makes it, easy as heck to shoot down as it can only fly in perfect weather. Seeing we own the UAV patent 5,904,724 and the UAV 0080033604 System and Method Safely Flying Unmanned Aerial, I would say we know our UAV's as we license others. That would explain how the 8th century Neanderthals managed to shoot it down. Thanks.

It looks in too good shape for something that was "shot down" by someone.
It could well be... a different version of one of these

It's not particularly impressive to shoot it down. As this is most likely a hand launched UAV, mainly used for nearby recon. Basically a soldier would throw one into the air so that he could get a good look at an adjacent area.
I imagine someone if they wanted too could probably catch it with there hands and pull it down.
They're not having much success and are taking heavy blows. So they need a propaganda victory. Harrumph!
I have an idea. Place tiny tracking transmitters in these and let Hizballah lay catch.

We also have a method to stop all UAV dead in their tracks that we are under application for patent. Dr. Adams, radams@optimatechnologygroup.com
IDF says Hamas fired mortars from UN school
I think that's the point of a UAV - it's U - unmanned.
These table top models are close reconnaissance - they're not hardened to take a hit, they're unmanned and expendable.
Which is the point.
