Hamas threatens to target Israeli and Jewish children
Hamas 'foreign minister' Mahmoud al-Zahar emerged from his cave on Monday long enough to issue a threat to target Israeli and Jewish children. The Hamas leader called to murder Israelis and Jews worldwide, including children. “The Israelis have sentenced their children to death... They have legitimized the killing of their people all over the world,” he said. Hamas' platform calls for all Jews to convert to Islam or be killed, based on an Islamic saying (Hadith), and the group has not refrained from targeting children in the past.I would take Hamas' threat seriously. Remember Daniel Wultz HY"D (may God avenge his blood)? Hamas called him the 'best target we can dream of' after the American Jewish teenager was murdered in a Hamas suicide bombing in Tel Aviv in 2006.
Hamas will destroy synagogues and Jewish schools as well, Zahar said, just as Israel destroyed mosques in Gaza. Israel bombed several mosques used to store rockets and ammunition.
Zahar suggested Hamas was prepared to seek a ceasefire, saying Hamas would discuss “whatever is good for our people.” He issued a list of demands, saying any ceasefire must include a complete end to IDF counterterrorism activities, Hamas control of the Gaza coast and the opening of Israeli crossings.
Israel has not offered Hamas a ceasefire, and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert recently said operations in Gaza would continue “until we achieve our goals.”

Such a Nazi threat... as I said earlier, they should be put beyond the pale of humanity and proscribed. The Jew doesn't negotiate with Hamas any more than he would with a Nazi. There is nothing to discuss with those wont to murder Jewish children in cold blood.
So it is ok to murder Palenstinian children in cold blood???? The only people acting like the Nazis are the Israeli government right now!I am horrified when I see pictures of little children dead and stacked in a row in Gazza! I am sick of the propoganda the Israelis are very clever of delivering around the world to justify the inhuman measures they are taking. Do 100 palestinian lives equate to 1 Israeli life? Do you think that by slaughtering the palestinians they will achieve peace? May god have mercy on all of the people killed in Gaza and I can only pray that the Israeli government sees sense and ends the genocide they are committing in Gaza!
Tally You seem to be overlooking the fact that when Palestinian civilians are killed by Israeli Troops it is not intentional. Hamas INTENTIONALLY targets civilians. Israeli forces go above and beyond in an attempt to avoid civilian casualties (more so than ANY other government in the world. It sounds to me that the only propaganda that you listen to is the Palestinian Arab propaganda. You claim inhuman measures when the measures taken by Israel are the most humane in the world.
Who is the terrorist? Hamas calls for all people who do not convert to Islam to be "killed by the sword". Tally if you are not Muslim yet then you better convert or they want your head as well. Hamas is no better than Iran which believes in the destruction of Israel and refuse to acknowledge that the holocaust even happened.
Also I don't see Israel going into Gaza with their own civilians going ahead of them as human shields.
If Hamas gathered outside the city, raised the white flag, turned their rockets over to the U.N. and signed a ceasefire than Israel would be out today.
The point is one overlooked - and not one Arab child would be dead today if Hamas did not strike at Israel. Such children die tragically in this war and the blame is due to Hamas' hatred of Jews and Israel. Civilians would not be killed - not one - if Hamas never chose to wage war upon Israel.
The red cross have announced a humanitarian crises in Gaza and you are telling me that the Israelis are not killing people intentionally?? Is this a joke?? They have bombed 2 UN schools and say that Hamas had used these school perviously to target Israel so the Palestinian children should be killed for it. Lets not forget why Hamas exist to begin with! They exist because of the fact that the Palestinians have been mistreated for a very long time by the Israelis. The Palestinians before 1948 had a country until the British decided to award it to the Jews and create the state of Israel. Jews, Christians and Muslims were all happily living in Palestine before that and that is a fact! The Zionist movement created the hatered between religions and created the nation of Israel. So let me ask all of you a question, why don't the Palestinians have the right to fight and defend themselves when the Israels have the right to do so?? Is it one law for the Israelis and another for the Palestinians?? You would think that the Jews would remember the holocaust and not do the same to the Palestinians!!
No its the same law for both. Withdraw to your side of the line, stop firing on each other, and stop threatening to cut each others heads off and call for the others destruction.
It is unreasonable to tell the Jews they all have to get up and leave the middle east so lets stop being naive about that. They all need to stop acting like children. Israels responsibility 50%, Palestinians 50%

In any event, your claim that "The Palestinians before 1948 had a country until the British decided to award it to the Jews and create the state of Israel," is WAY off base. Forget for a minute that the British had a mandate from the League of Nations to administer 'Palestine' and lay the groundwork for a Jewish state there some thirty years before that. The Jewish presence here dates back 3000 years. And as Joan Peters documents in painstaking detail in From Time Immemorial using British census numbers, the 'Palestinians' didn't arrive here until well after large numbers of Jews who were willing to employ them arrived in the 1880's and 1890's.

Appreciate your response in which you completely avoid the humanitarian issue I was talking about. 700 people have now died in Gaza, a third of which are Palestinian children! Have you been watching the news? Have you seen the horific pictures of the dead children? They are so disturbing that I have to sometimes just switch the TV off!And don't tell me about the pathetic rockets that Hamas are using as we both know who the super power is and how pathetic Hamas's weapons are in comparisan!! 4 Israel deaths= 700 palestinians, I see the logic! Let me tell you something, this will only breed more hatered and more Hamas people as you keep pushing them into a smaller cage where their only solution is to bite back!! In any case I have a strong feeling that everything I am saying is a wate of time as you don't seem to have compassion for the Palestinians nor any humanitarian feelings for them. You probably only have them for the Israeli people and for that I feel sorry for you. I don't condone violance or extremism in any religion as that is what breeds violance and ignorance. We are all humans at the end of the day and that is what we must remember.
May god have mercy on their soles and I will rest my argument now and say this will be my last comment on this blog.
