Video: What really happened in the Middle East

This should be a history lesson for a lot of you. There's a great quote from Abu Mazen in the middle.

Let's go to the videotape.

Carl,

I think this is pretty self-explanatory. What is not so clear is how the Jewish spokepeople over the years have allowed the terminology to change from 'war', which it is, to 'cycle of violence', which it isn't. It seems like it's time to challenge the term 'cycle of violence' every time we hear it or are confronted with it on CNN or FOX.

The fact that it changed, hence implying that there are different rules of engagement, such a 'proportionality', is our responsibility, and always has been. We are known, and I believe we are,to be intellectually tough people. We sure haven't shown it.

And, just an offhand remark, if we just want the simple truth of the facts to emerge, do we really need such melodramatic music? But I'm a Levi, as I've said before. I'll take the blame on the music. Of course, no one has asked me either.

The lifeleak icon is in the way of the text. I wished there was another copy without the icon.

Naftali,

Proportionality is actually a concept in the Geneva Convention. But it's very vague. Read the post on the school.

Broomer,

I can't do anything about it - even when I upload to LiveLeak myself. The logo gets put there.

But don't complain - at least LiveLeak doesn't take stuff down.
