Haiti's cholera getting worse and no one cares

Some 1,900 Haitians have died of cholera in the current outbreak in Haiti and 84,000 more people are infected reports Greta van Sustern.
The numbers of cholera victims in Haiti is staggering ! Right now the estimates exceed 1,900 deaths and 84,000 + are infected. I will spare you the details sent to me in an email a few hours ago...but this is a crisis...a life and death crisis.

After the earthquake last January, about 11 billion from citizens around the world was pledged to help rebuild Haiti and just save lives. Most of that money has not been delivered to Haiti. Haitians living in unsanitary camps has fueled the spreading of the cholera epidemic.

Presidents Clinton and Bush 43 were appointed by President Obama to help Haiti. I don't know what the two former Presidents are doing, but right now it is getting worse.

Reverend Franklin Graham and Samaritan's Purse have volunteers and clinics set up in Haiti to help the cholera victims ...but as you might imagine, more help is greatly needed. Yes, there are many organizations with volunteers but the magnitude of the crisis is so horrendous that there just is not enough help there. Untreated cholera will kill you.
Three weeks ago, the United Nations asked for $164 million to fight the cholera epidemic, which at that point had killed 'only' 720 people. It was estimated at the time that the epidemic could eventually kill 200,000 people.

But instead, the Obama administration chose to donate $150 million to pay the 'salaries' of 'Palestinian Authority' employees in Gaza. Yes, I put 'salaries' in scare quotes because these people are paid to stay home and do nothing.

They said that if I voted for John McCain, the US government wouldn't be concerned about black people. And they were right.

What to do with that $150 million

This is for Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fl). You will recall that Ros-Lehtinen wants to stop Secretary of State Hillary Clinton from using $150 million to close the 'Palestinian Authority's budget gap. Here's a much better idea for what to do with that money. You can use it to stop cholera in Haiti.
The United Nations is asking for $164 million to fight the cholera outbreak in Haiti, which has now claimed 724 lives.

Elisabeth Byrs, spokeswoman for the UN humanitarian office, says unless the funds are provided "all our efforts can be outrun by the epidemic." She said UN and non-governmental organizations would use the money to bring in additional doctors, medicines and water purification equipment to treat up to 200,000 people who could be affected by the disease.
So what would you rather do: Save 200,000 Haitians from cholera or pay the salaries of a few dozen 'Palestinian' bureaucrats in Gaza? Guns or butter? The choice seems obvious to me.
