What to do with that $150 million
This is for Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fl). You will recall that Ros-Lehtinen wants to stop Secretary of State Hillary Clinton from using $150 million to close the 'Palestinian Authority's budget gap. Here's a much better idea for what to do with that money. You can use it to stop cholera in Haiti. The United Nations is asking for $164 million to fight the cholera outbreak in Haiti, which has now claimed 724 lives. So what would you rather do: Save 200,000 Haitians from cholera or pay the salaries of a few dozen 'Palestinian' bureaucrats in Gaza? Guns or butter? The choice seems obvious to me.
Elisabeth Byrs, spokeswoman for the UN humanitarian office, says unless the funds are provided "all our efforts can be outrun by the epidemic." She said UN and non-governmental organizations would use the money to bring in additional doctors, medicines and water purification equipment to treat up to 200,000 people who could be affected by the disease.

Yup. The choice is clear to me.
If I had $150 million, I would never spend it to allow Palestinian bureaucrats to get paid without having to work.
Maybe Obama likes that kind of welfare for the Palestinians but the rest of us shouldn't put up with it.
