Shame! Second victim of light rail terror attack dies, government avoids funeral

A second victim of the Jerusalem light rail terror attack died on Sunday. She was Karen Yamima Mosquera HY"D (May God Avenge her blood), a 20-year old convert who recently made aliya from Ecuador. Although hundreds of Jerusalem residents showed up for her funeral, not a single government representative bothered to show up (link in Hebrew).

Among the eulogizers were Rav Yitzchak Ezrachi, the head of the Mir yeshiva in Jerusalem, and Jerusalem Mayor Nir Birkat. Ecuador's ambassador to Israel was also in attendance. But not one member of the Netanyahu government bothered to show up. Shame on them!
