Dad z"l
Two years ago today, my father, Reuven Yerachmiel ben Avraham Yaakov, passed away.
Dad z"l (of blessed memory) was as straight and honest as they come. He was a strong supporter of Israel and of its right to maintain the entire land of Israel. He left behind two children, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren (of whom he only met three - there is another one since bli ayin hara).
He was the first one in synagogue every morning and afternoon. He was a strong supporter of Jewish education.
May his memory be a blessing.
The picture was taken outside a Holiday Inn in Washington DC in August 1962. I'm the one with the bowtie on Dad's right (the left of the picture).
Here's another picture from the same trip.
