Second lone soldier killed in Gaza
In an earlier post, I reported on the death of a lone soldier
- a soldier whose family lives abroad - from the United States who was killed in Sunday's fighting in Gaza. Unfortunately, I must now report on another one. Max Steinberg HY"D
(May God Avenge his blood) of Los Angeles was also killed on Sunday in Gaza.
Steinberg was killed in action overnight on Sunday when the Golani Brigade operated extensively in the Gaza Strip.
Even before his death was cleared for publication, friends and family
inundated his Facebook wall with appreciative posts honoring his service
and mourning his death. “You are our hero, our inspiration, our
savior. Thank you for protecting us. May you rest in peace,” a friend
May God Console the family among all mourners for Zion and Jerusalem, and may they know of no more sorrow.
