Israel becomes a Christian country

Since the 'cease fire' came into effect at 9:00 am, Hamas has fired more than 35 rockets at Israel, including rockets that  hit as far away as Haifa. Is anyone really surprised?

In response, Israel has behaved like a good Christian country. It has turned the other cheek.
Code Red rocket alert sirens sounded in several western Negev communities bordering Gaza , as well as in Ashdod, Ashkelon, Kiryat Malachi and Gan Yavne. The rocket fired then moved north to Rehovot, Ness Ziona and Rishon Lezion. The IDF was still checking the source of Code Red sirens that went off shortly afterward in Binyamina , Zichron Ya'akov and the Haifa area.
One of the rockets landed in the courtyard of a house in Ashdod, while another rocket hit a warehouse in the Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council. No injuries were reported in the attacks.
The Iron Dome intercepted several rockets over Ashdod and at least one in Netivot. A soldier was lightly wounded by shrapnel in Sderot.
Hamas took responsibility for the rocket fire.
The IDF stated that the government had instructed it to refrain from responding to the rocket attacks as part of the ceasefire deal.
...
The IDF said just after noon on Tuesday that 35 rockets had been fired into Israel from Gaza since Israel accepted the ceasefire initiative.
...
Diplomatic officials said the security cabinet's decision to halt the operation at this point will give Israel international legitimacy to continue with widespread military action if Hamas does not stop its rocket attacks.
אין שלום, אין בטחון, ביבי כשלון.

(There is no peace, there is no security, Bibi is a failure).

If Jews want peace, they should convert to Islam.

I'm not being facetious. But if peace is the only goal that matters, why be Jewish? Isn't that racism?

Meir Kahane made that very point a few decades ago and no one's still listening.

EEK, Turning the other check is for personal disputes, not national ones. But most of all, do not forget that God is totally in control. Four hundred years of slavery in Egypt? That ended by God's hand, when he decided. A bunch of slaves just walked away from the super power of the day. Israel should not even exist, you are too small and have too many enemies. But our God reigns. The Bible says that in the last days Israel will stand alone, surrounded by enemies. And then God will be there.
