According to Rabbi Marc Schneier of the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding, a Jewish-Muslim interfaith group, Abbas agreed to make a public declaration on behalf of Holocaust-remembrance efforts around the world, as well as to speak out against attempts to ban circumcision and ritual slaughter in several European countries.With regard to the part I bolded, don't hold your breath waiting for it to happen. And if it does happen, you can bet it will be in English and not in Arabic.
Abbas told Schneier that “remembrance should be an issue of increased concern to both Jews and Muslims,” the rabbi said after the meeting.
Abbas has been a subject of criticism in some Israeli circles over accusations of Holocaust denial because of his graduate thesis, written while studying in the former Soviet Union, which asserted that “a partnership was established between Hitler’s Nazis and the leadership of the Zionist movement” and that the Zionist movement “gave permission to every racist in the world, led by Hitler and the Nazis, to treat Jews as they wish, so long as it guarantees immigration to Palestine.”He won't deny the thesis this year either.
Last year Abbas defended his thesis, saying that he “challenges anyone who can deny that the Zionist movement had ties with the Nazis before World War II,” according to a report in the Palestinian news service Ma’an.

Marc Schneier is a living embodiment of the stupidity that has take over Jews and their naive willingness to believe anything - anything they're told by their enemies. Its beneath embarrassing to witness Jews whore themselves out at the lowest price in exchange for nothing! Earlier generations of Jews would not have trafficked with Arab terrorists. But Zeev Jabotinsky warned us about a sickness in the Jewish soul about Jews who feel the compulsive need to have their enemies validate them. Schneier and his fellow travelers on the Israeli Left reveal how deep this sickness runs in Jewish life nowadays.
The other thing to remember is that a Muslim is allowed to lie to an "infidel" and it isn't held against them. As one Muslim told me - is it wrong to lie to the devil?
