#BDS_Fail New Mexico votes down divestment resolution... and so do Loyola and King's College

UNM just defeated a divestment resolution 12 to 7 despite its being diluted with anti-Israel content essentially excised.

Loyola University's student union did not come up with the 2/3 majority necessary to overturn the president's veto of a divestment resolution passed last week.

The student union of King's College London overturned a BDS resolution passed last week. 

“These results show that when student senators are informed, they see through the undemocratic tactics and false reasoning and facts of the anti-Israel BDS movement.  We will continue to work with pro-Israel students, helping develop the facts and arguments needed to fight the bigotry of BDS,” said Roz Rothstein, CEO of StandWithUs.
