Saeb and Lapid seethe at new housing announcement

'Palestinian' chief negotiator bottle washer Saeb Erekat is seething at new Israeli construction plans in Judea and Samaria.
Palestinian Authority (PA) chief negotiator Saeb Erekat reacted to the announcement Friday of Israeli construction tenders for over 1,800 new housing units in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria. Erekat claimed the plans were a message to US Secretary of State John Kerry that peace talks are over.
The newly declared plans include 801 units in Judea and Samaria as well as 600 units in Jerusalem, with tenders on an additional 532 units in Jerusalem that were previously announced being re-marketed.
"The new settlement construction is a message from (Prime Minister Binyamin) Netanyahu to Kerry not to come back to the region to continue his efforts in Israeli-Palestinian peace talks," Erekat told AFP.
"Every time Kerry has stepped up his efforts, returning to the region (for more talks), Netanyahu has stepped up his efforts to destroy the peace process," complained Erekat. "Netanyahu is determined to destroy the two-state solution. It is high time we held Israel accountable for its crimes."
Israel accountable? Israel released 78 'Palestinian' terrorists just to get the 'Palestinians' to come to the table, and it has likely (we don't know for certain) made generous land offers to a fake 'people' that has never won a war. The 'Palestinians,' on the other hand, have not made a single compromise at these 'negotiations' or any others.

Saeb isn't the only one seething. So is Yair Lapid, whose Yesh Atid party has suddenly become is quite Leftist. Did you know that when you voted for them?
Finance Minister Yair Lapid (Yes Atid) vowed that the party he heads would do everything it could to block the building of the 1400 new units over the pre-1967 lines.
"These are not building tenders, but declarations to build that are void of content. It's a bad idea. Yesh Atid will do everything it can to ensure that it remains simply a bad idea and won't be executed."
I'm sure they'll follow Naftali Bennett's Jewish Home party out of the government when he leaves over the government's decision to forfeit land to the 'Palestinians.' /sarc
