And again: Obama's outstretched hand met with clenched fist

If only President Hussein Obama were bluffing, we might understand why he keeps doing this. Last weekend, for the umpteenth time, Hussein Obama reached out to the Iranian mullahs, calling for bilateral talks between the US and Iran through Vice President Joe Biden. The Iranians even called the offer 'positive,' just to make sure that Obama will try it again. But the result is the same as always. The Iranians (or the only Iranian who matters) have rejected the offer.
"Some naive people like the idea of negotiating with America, however, negotiations will not solve the problems," Khamenei said in a speech to officials and members of Iran's aerospace force, IRIB reported.
"Some rejoice at the offer of negotiations ... [but] negotiations will not solve anything," AFP quoted Khamenei as saying.
"If some people want American rule to be established again in Iran, the nation will rise up to face them," he said.
What could go wrong?
