A couple of awesome images: The day that God flooded Tel Aviv

Here's an aerial view of Tel Aviv earlier on Tuesday:

And here's the now totally closed Ayalon expressway, which cuts through the city (this is a ground level view of the brown lines in the picture above.

Carl, I hope you are using the term "awesome" in the sense of "awe-inspiring" at the destruction and that you are not taking joy in the discomfort and financial loss of your fellow Jews...your choice of words is easy to read in a very negative light.

In China they would hang the idiot that made such a project...
Every Beduin knows that in places where it rains little when it comes down it comes down all together and dry rivers become full streams which NEED where to go otherwise they cause disaster... So, when the MAIN freeway in Tel Aviv is totally flooded, and both car and railway traffic are stopped, some IDIOT should pay. It's not fate, it's incompetence and CORRUPTION! God doesn't flood a city, God makes the rain come down, and idiots do bad canalizations and waterworks!
Yet, in Israel, some friend of a friend in the "brangia" gets the contract, makes a fortune on the project and is NEVER held accountable... Like the guy who was supposed to finish certain street works in Jerusalem (Keren HaYesod-King George) in 2003 and finished in 2007...with most of the time ONE GUY working in the whole area!!! Or the guys who did the light-rail project...
