Ronald Reagan comes back from the dead to blast Barack Hussein Obama
I've seen (and I think even posted) the Reagan speech before, but the way this is done is nothing short of awesome. I wish they'd do one centering more on foreign policy. Recall that Reagan was the President who pushed Star Wars, which the Democrats said would never work. Reagan must be smiling from Heaven at Iron Dome.Let's go to the videotape (Hat Tip: Moonbattery via Bad Blue).

It was really amazing, the Democrats' stupidity, particularly that of Speaker Tip O'Neill, in saying the Strategic Defense Initiative would never work. Only a couple of decades previously, Pres. John F. Kennedy had set a 10 year goal for America, to place men on the moon and return them safely to the earth. Most of the technology that made the Apollo flights possible didn't exist when Kennedy set that goal. Nevertheless, we achieved it in only 8 years.
In December 1941, the Japanese attacked America at Pearl Harbor. Less than 4 years later, we forced Japan's surrender with two great, radically new weapons, the atomic bomb delivered by the B-29 super-bomber, neither of which existed when Japan attacked us.
I could go on and on with such examples.
Of course, no Democrats would ever call a Democrat president crazy for setting an extremely ambitious goal. they reserve their intellectual and moral myopia, their hypocrisy and their lack of vision, for criticizing Republicans.
My favorite Reagan quote was to the effect that Democrats aren't stupid, it's just that they know so much that isn't so. "Plus ça change..."
