Boo. Hoo. UNESCO 'crippled' by US funding cut over 'Palestinians'

UNESCO is whining that it's 'crippled' due to funding cuts imposed by the United States after UNESCO admitted the 'Palestinians.'
The UN body has been forced to slash spending, freeze job hires and cut programs after losing the US funding, which had made up 22 percent of its budget, UNESCO's Irina Bokova told reporters.
The organization, which designates World Heritage sites, promotes global education and supports press freedom among other tasks, had started the year with a deficit of $150 million out of $653 million for its budget over 2012 and 2013, Bokova said.
"It's crippling our capacity to deliver," she added.
"We are coping in very difficult circumstances. We're fundraising this year, but it's not sustainable on a long-term basis. We're not closing UNESCO, but member states will have to rethink the way forward. UNESCO will be crippled."
US legislation prohibits funding to any UN agency that grants full membership to any group that does not have "internationally recognized attributes" of statehood.

...

Bokova said it was in US interests to be part of UNESCO and hoped Washington would review its position before next year when it would be stripped of voting rights for not paying its dues.
"There is money in the world, but it's not just about money," Bokova said. "We need the United States to formulate common policies and to debate common values."
Boo. Hoo. Maybe they should have thought about this before they admitted the 'Palestinians.'

So, a German lady, in the U.S. for grad school, dallied at our GOP booth at a far-flung flyover State Fair. She had that Obama-nose-in-the-air thing going, as she told us how misguided we are, while Germany's socialism is the enlightened way to go. So, of course having been a military brat who lived in Germany and saw it up close, I asked her how she thought she would do if Germany actually paid their "fair share" for their defense, for things like economic development in Africa, for the international technology projects Euro countries sign up for and then back out of paying their committed share of at the last minute... I told her that I don't think we want every single country to be socialist like the Euros. Nor would we allow someone like Germany to try to force the U.S. to be like them. She of course was stunned at this, but had no facts, figures, or answers. She said she had never looked into that type of thing before...

So, may I suggest that UNESCO go to the socialist countries to make up the funding for a while. And then realize that you don't want everybody to be socialist, or the POOR WILL BE LEFT TO STARVE. And all the countries will be on a path back to the cave.

And furthermore, since Germany's Siemens has provided some of the most vital parts of Iran's nuke program, UNESCO will be able to depend on them to pay subsistence for the PA/Hamas rocket crews, as they do their very best to kill Jews in teeny tiny surrounded Israel. Given Germany's silence on the rocketing issue and their sandbagging on the Iran nuke process that they said some years back that they and their P+5 or whatever it is would take care of, we can extrapolate that they are FOR IT after all these years when it comes to wiping out Jews.
